Speed flying looks cool but I know I can’t handle those speeds on launch or near the ground. Must be a smooth transition from sky diving but I dunno for sure.

I had a bad landing, where i tought i was ok i walked around a bit, with no pain and after half an hour the pain slowly started, so i went to the doctor, took some x-rays, and they found out that i had broken my back So +1 to the comment permattis made
Good thing nothing happened... I feel the same. Especially at the beginning of the season, when I'm out of practice, I occasionally mess up the landing, and have near-death experiences. And last month I accidentally landed with a tailwind. That was a absolut nearest death crash. But don't complain, think about student pilots. Visit the training slope of a flight school. The poor people have several times a day near death crashes.
Prise de risque scandaleuse, tu as des problèmes? occupe toi des gens, de tes parents au lieu de laisser le diable conduire tes angoisses et ta fuite quotidienne devant le devoir, franchement à l'image de la société, priez donc pour ce pauvre type qui tente le Rio Paris.
Mais non du calme, c'était une très grosse erreur certes, mais ça peut arrive à tout le monde, le tout c'est qu'il n'ait rien... D’ailleurs le simple fait qu'il ait posté la vidéo est bien la preuve qu'il a reconnu ses erreurs
Certes il a mal jugé la distance avec un swoop plutôt lent mais au moins il apprend de ses erreurs. Il pratique un sport risqué et il connaît les risques, mais quel sport incroyable qu’il est difficile de critiquer lorsque l’on a jamais touché une voile de speedflying. Heureusement il va bien 🤙🏻 !
