This was really useful
Hi, would I need to buy your guys hardwiring kit specifically for parking mode and low battery mode to be enabled? or could I buy a hardwiring kit elsewhere to use with this dash cam?
Thanks for your comment! The P1 Duo dash cam requires a dedicated hardwire kit. You can purchase here. www.amazon.com/dp/B0C773GYNX/
Hello I just purchased this as well as the hardwire kit to use in parking mode. Can you tell me how much power it uses in that mode? So I can calculate how long I can run it for if I don't drive my car every day. I see on the hardwire kit it says that it'll cut power to the cam if voltage drops to 11.7v, but I'm concerned that that is too low, as I'm not sure my truck will even start with only 11.7v
Hello, thank you for your message😊! Typically, a voltage of 11.7v is sufficient to power a car, except in the case of older model cars or vehicles in low temperatures.😊
@@daisycallahan4570 Thank you for replying! I am very happy with my purchase. However, I do have a couple other questions. In the Amazon listing for the P1 Duo that I bought, it says that in Parking Mode it has both Motion Sensor and Collision Sensor, but in the app it only has settings for Collision Sensor. Does the P1 Duo have motion sensor in parking mode? The other question is while in parking mode, which uses less battery, Time-Lapse or Regular Recording? Thank you!
@@titanium9291 Hi👋, the disparity in battery consumption between time-lapse and regular recording is minimal. However, we suggest utilizing time-lapse recording to ensure no moments are missed.☺
After a while the date and time started to appear wrong. I cannot fix this, only two recordings appear on the SD card. Also, when I am driving the car, I keep hearing "recording stopped" "recording started". When I stop driving, the camera does not continue to work. There was no such problem before. I am sure that the fuse is using the correct connection points. What is your suggestion? Thank you very much
Could you provide a fuse diagram and identify the two fuse slots to which you are connected? Pls send the images to our suport team at support@pelsee.com with the subject of hardwire kit issue from TH-cam. They'll help you to fix the issue soon.☺
Me too!
How can i recored back camera or see back camera on app ??
Does this camera only works with the lighter port? Or also usb?
Hello, thanks for your message! The dash cam can be powered either from the cigarette lighter or by hardwiring it to the fuse box. Direct USB powering is not supported.
Can my phone still be used for other functions while connected to the camera’s wifi? Such as apple music or navigation
Regrettably, you won't be able to use other functions once connected to the camera's Wi-Fi.
You only really need to connect to the wifi to set it up or download videos though. It still records and functions as soon as you turn the car on.
Hello, I got this cam for front and rear but I cannot see anything for the rear cam. Please advise.
Hello, thanks for your message! Can you confirm that there is no rear camera footage on both the dash cam and the app? And could you please check if the two 4-pin connectors at the rear camera are securely plugged in?
What is the static sticker for? I just mounted mine without it
You can avoid using a static sticker as long as the glass is free of dust. The main advantage of using a static sticker is that it allows you to easily remove the dash cam without leaving any marks on the glass.
I just got this cam. The rear camera records in reverse, like a mirror! Cannot read license plate numbers.
Hello, thanks for your message! Could you please disable or turn off the Rear Mirror from the settings menu? This can usually be done by accessing the Camera Settings on the app. If you need assistance, please feel free to contact us at support@pelsee.com. We'll be happy to help you with the process! 😊
I've bought this cam but there's no way to use parking mode without a hardwire kit which Pelsee don't seem to sell anymore making one of the main functions useless.
Hello Stuart, the hardwire kits are available on Amazon. You can find them here. amzn.to/3QgEiYM
@@Pelsee_official thank you but that's only available in the US and I'm in the UK. How can I buy it in the UK?
@@88stuhill Currently the hardwire kit is not accessible in the UK market, but it is anticipated to be available at a later time. Should you wish to acquire one immediately, please reach out to our support team at support@pelsee.com, and they will provide you with suitable recommendations.😊
@@Pelsee_official I have already sent 2 emails to them via the support section on the app but I've not heard anything back.
Why put the rear camera connection so close to the front now I got too run 2 cables along the windscreen?
Thank you for your feedback! While we may not be able to alter the current design immediately, we recommend using cable management solutions like clips or organizers to neatly route the cables along the windscreen for a clean look and optimal functionality.😊
Will this keep recording while the car is turned off and parked?
If the cigarette lighter loses power when the car is turned off, the dash cam will shut down and stop recording.
can I just put my sandisk 256gb sd card in the pelsee dashcamera without the adapter? after I formatted it to fat32 my memory adapter is too big to fit in the dash camera with the sd card installed
Since the memory adapter is too big to fit in the dash camera with the SD card installed, you'll need to use a microSD card instead.
@@Pelsee_official ya I figured that I just didn't want to push it in and it would get stuck but I see it does not go all the way in
its working and the quality is really good how do we get parking mode to work and is the only way to get it to record while the car is turned off is to hardwire it
@@ployth9000 Thank you for the great feedback! Yes, you need a hardwire kitto activate the parking mode. www.amazon.com/Hardwire-Pelsee-12V-24V-Charger-Installation/dp/B0C773GYNX/ This one is for P1duo dash cam.
