i HATE that door noise - I've been listening to it for a good hour every day for the past three weeks.......but the fuse controls other things and my clamp doesn't fit far enough into the door jamb to press that stupid button in....

It's the most unpleasant door noise that's ever existed. Nearly 25 years since I last heard it, but can still recall its horrificness. I hear it now.
