I had a disappointing moment with it when one dude was really nice and helped me out mining (or crafting) armor, and I wanted to repay him with some of my cooking skills, but he said no need, because he is already high level in it* :( I don't know when I stopped playing, maybe it was in the haunted house, I think I was too dumb to figure it out and got stuck? Or I just got bored of the game overall? Can't recall. *(It would be nice to have an MMO sandbox game where everyone has only limited number of skills and they have to work together depending on their chosen skills. Probably not fun for everyone, if only certain people can fight, but I think it would be satisfying and could find it's niche market.)

So you could choose your own professions, but only ONE of them, making people to cooperate so they could, e. g. craft weapons. It was a good concept, but it was damn hard in reality. Since some skills like weaponcrafting were more useful than gathering, it was hard to find a person that had a certain profession, but it was a must-have if you wanted a weapon that's any good: You had to find a person that had Engineering to power the weapon piece, a person with Weaponsmithig to bind the pieces and a person with Technology so that he upgrades it. It's a concept that's hard to keep fun for everyone.
I checked their channel and they seem to have a bunch of WoW videos and I have no idea where they could talk about it. Can you remember a name of the MMO maybe? Even if I don't try it, I'm sort of interested how they handled the system. (If Minecraft had a better Modding API, I think it could be even done there by someone.)
