Montjuic Park was dangerous but absolutely glorious. Only the Nurburgring and Watkins Glen could be compared to it. Sadly all 3 are now no longer on the calendar and instead we have dreadful venues like Hungary, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Jeddah.

@metacosmos You're wrong, it's 1973. In 1971 Peterson was in March not a Lotus which were red then not black. Hulme's 71 McLaren with a front radiator was orange not white with a wedge nose. Hill was driving Ron Tauranac's green and yellow Brabham not his own white Embassy-sponsored Shadow. The 1971 Ferrari looked much better than this 1973 abortion. So now that we are agreed let's toast Montjuich Park, beautiful in any year.

metacosmos Definitely 1973 my friend. The M23 wasn’t on track until that year. 1971 was M14 , a pretty poor car . Gethin was sacked , moved to BRM and promptly won at Monza !
F1 wont ever be as cool as it was in that era
A dangerous time in Grand Prix racing, exacerbated by that sinister soundtrack! Great footage
Right? Its like everyone knew how close disaster was....including Syd Barrett and Vincent Price, who obviously did the soundtrack 😆

El sonido es simplemente increíble... La verdadera F1!
Increible circuito y coches fantasticos, mucho mejor que lo de ahora...
Hell yeah, these cars were absolutely kick ass...in looks and sound
Montjuic probably the best street circuit ever, abandoned by a fatal accident involving spectators in the 1975 GP.
What a sinister background music!
Memorable... Thank you 👌🏼
Me encanta los saltitos que meten en una curva
BRILLIANT DRIVE BY EMERSON
great quality
I never saw a race, but the track is awesome. Bikes did a 24 hour race here for fucks sake. 2 riders only as well

Und wo ist Julia? :P

The last season of Stewart before his retire and of Cevert before his deadly crash
