I love Banton. He looks so awkward but has a great handle and body control. His ability to not only get to the glass but also make the shot is impressive. His long ball seems to be coming around too. Then on the other floor he can switch on anybody and match up. With Deni struggling to score so far, he might get more run. Definitely deserves it.

I've been saying the entire season (yes, we're only a few games in) that I like the 5 of Simons at point, Banton at 2, Denni at 3, JG at 4 and Ayton at 5.
You do realize Banton gets paid 25x less than simons and was aquired for scraps....plays defense....tall can see the floor....brings energy passion and a bit of bone thugs with him. I have banged the drum for 4 years that simons is the last player this organization needs but here we are.

I saw this last year. DB is a better player then Scoot. Scoot is quicker. Thats it. Time to consider developing him. Cheeper too. Just a better player. Our best sophmore is a 2nd round pick and our best gaurd is a throw away trade. It is what it is. Make some trades save some money. 😮
