Noah…Bringer of War! That kit had to a helluva lot of fun to play. Wide open tuning just sounds so menacing. Fantastic playing and production again. Cheers🍻
This YT channel always has the BEST vintage and modern drum kits/cymbals a drummer could ever want or desire on here!!!!! Yesterday was a 1920’s Black Beauty 10 Lug!!!!!!!! Definitely one of my dream drums to own. For now I have to settle for multi layered sample VST versions or Roland/Alesis equivalents. I do have a 1919 Ludwig and Ludwig 4”x14 6 lug NOB acoustic snare drum from my great grandfather!!!! Not extremely valuable 200-500$ range but worth everything to me and it does sound fantastic with med/high tunings. The rimshots sound phenomenal imo
Absolutely incredible sounding drum kit. Those kick and snare drum sounds are legendary. I can hear those sounds on so many records for the 70’s. There is picture of Robo from Black Flag 🏴 playing a clear Vistalite 24” kick, 14” rack tom and 18” floor tom with some random steel or aluminum snare. That is the Ultimate Ludwig Vistalite kit imo, I know many others would say John Bonham Amber 26”,14”,16”,18” w/ 6.5” snare that’s the very close 2nd for me and obviously technique wise Bonham absolutely blows Robo outta the water. No question, however in my 14/15/16 year old self listening to Black Flag 🏴 and reading/listening to Henry Rollins Get In the Van 🚐 and seeing Robo behind that clear Vistalite kit that gave me the inspiration as an up and coming drummer that I could do that as well. The Punk Rock DIY aspect lit 🔥 the fire inside me that burn bright to this day!!!!!!
These drums are constructed in a unique way- the clear and black sections are helical and sort of screwed together like a corkscrew then glued together I had the Quadra Plus set with a Ghost pedal and an Orange hi-hat stand when I was in the navy in 1977- I kept them in my '66 Nova 4dr on the pier at Pearl Harbor
Good chops Noah. Yeah love that sound for years so much I bought a blue and white set in the pattern 'F'. Great rock drums. The un muffled base drum would have everyone after my gigs coming around to see how I got that sound. I would simple say it's that Vistalite sound.
What a great sounding kit! Nice playing Noah!

This video demonstrates the special sound of vintage drums… well done
That snare is thunder!! Wow. Great sounding drums.
Your playing made it sound as one instrument Really nice job!
Love em Steve... Can't wait!! To they come and I can play them!

The drums sound amazing! They sing themselves.
Your best video to date! Love the Lighting effect! Well done my friend…
totally agree with james glasers 2 observations, great playing , great sound , sounds bigger than what the sizes actually are
😎👍 NOAH!!!
A 70's LUDWIG swirl...
There’s something special in the Ludwig Vistalite drums sound 🔥🔥🔥
Omg I own this EXACT KIT. Bought it used in 1978 and would never sell it. I’ve rarely ever seen another.
Great playing, it made me want to break out my vistalites!

Bonham had a 26, 14, 16, 18 in that pattern. Looks very cool!
T lighting is sensational. T snare sounds like nothing I've heard b4. Open was heaps better to me. Grt playing! 🍻✌️
I have the same set
Sounds great but needs more cowbell... Just kidding... Nice kit...
Plastic was a fad. 3 ply Lood's are the real deal from the 60's.
