@@VagabondBuilds Yes. Due to arrive within about two weeks here in Maryland. I asked around and found out the meteorite gray with black interior '23 Tourings are pretty scarce, but got lucky to find one to be delivered to a dealer nearby. I went there asap and put a down payment to lock it down after about 5 minutes in the parking lot looking at other models with the color (Accord) and similar seats (Sport) to verify how much I like it in person (limited inventory on the lot).
Excellent review, I appreciate your enthusiasm because this gave me excitement for it. This is a very nice vehicle & can't wait to see it in person. I like this color & 2 others
@@tonylam7022That’s nuts! I bought a brand new 2023 Civic Touring in January 2023. It was $31.6K MSRP, $35K out the door with taxes and fees. Even that is an inflated MSRP. They tried charging me a markup of $4K but I said no. Definitely don’t pay $35K before taxes and fees.
Guys...Im about to pull the trigger on a 2023 Mazda 3 Hatchback Premium for $33K out the door. THis would be the competitor (not counting hatch) and Im really in a bind!! I know the Hatch is badass...I owneed one two years....but it was totalled...
I had the same thoughts. But the Honda has limited slip differential, the Mazda doesn’t. I definitely notice it when taking some sharp turns. I just leased the 2023 Touring in white in August- it’s a fun car to drive. I really wish it had memory seats. IMO a top,of the line touring civic model. Should have that. But I have to say I,like the car. Previous car was an accord with a V6 engine. So turbo was a must for me. This goes 0-60 in about 7.2 anything higher I would have passed on it. I would have liked to have gone with the Civic SI but I don’t want to drive Stick.. can’t have everything! But I cant see you being dissatisfied with the car.. good luck…
Lots of features for the money but you can get a much bigger Accord EX for the same money. Question about the auto STOP/START feature. Can you permanently shut this off through the software or do you have to manually shut it off every time you start the car?
@@VagabondBuilds she’s liking the savings in gas. We traded in her 2016 Land Rover discovery Sport. She said she has to get use to sitting low again. But if you know anything about LR, they start to fall apart after about 5 or so years.
Is this actually a 2023? I wasn’t aware that any deliveries at dealerships had happened yet. Also, there seems to be a sticker over where the year is listed on the MSRP sticker.
Thank you Ben for the feedback, but no this is a 2022, glad to know there are people watching. But we had followed up with Honda and we did this as a 2023 due to the fact that nothing much will change.
I was going to to say the same, there’s many people watching all movement of Civics everyday, there’s even a online 2022/2023 Honda Civic Tracker, which I created.
100 percent identical to my 2022 Honda Civic Touring except my exterior is Crystal Black Pearl. People residing in winter climate prone areas, get some Winter Wiper Blades and new tires such as Michelin X-Ice Snow. I also downsized my wheels to 16-inch steel wheels preserving the OEM 18-inch Alloy wheels. The Sno-Brum works okay but you will need a window ice scraper. I am attempting to avoid brush scratches and such from damaging the cars paint. I have not encountered any problems with the Civic Touring. Do not purchase any compact vehicle if you are Big and Tall. The Civic is designed for individuals less than 5'11 and 190 pounds, otherwise it is crampy or tight fit. There is no lumbar back support. The Stop-Idle feature is very annoying, but there for better fuel economy per say. MPG is incorrect. No one can drive continuously through the City at 30 to 35 MPH. My vehicle is used on short commutes and averages 21 to 22 MPG City not 31 MPG as on the Window Sticker or anywhere said the Civic provides such numbers/specifications. It's a lie. My 2009 Hyundai Sonata GLS 3.3L V6 gets 21 MPG City and 28 MPG Highway and averages about 24MPG. I have 104,000 miles on the Sonata. I had a 2018 Toyota RAV4 Limited AWD that got 17MPG or poor mileage and no longer have it. I will soon have a new fully loaded 2023 Toyota Camry XSE V6. I recall my first car 1975 Dodge Dart (resembled the Chevy Nova) with a Slant V6 engine it was a very good car. (I know- Fox body style but a great car at the time). The best era of cars are now gone ... too much garbage cheap quality vehicles at an insane high price point. A friend of mine had a 1971 Barracuda, he got it chromed out and kept it fully restored as original parts hard to come by. It was a nice car but he sold it like 12 years ago and was paid handsomely about 5 times more than he paid for it.

Does this car have phone remote start on the Honda link app
I know that’s an option but I’m not exactly sure that this exact car had that option. ? You maybe can call your nearest dealership and ask.

That it something I couldn’t answer, you can call your nearest Honda dealership and speak to a tech specialist.

Why do the international versions of the civic have rear seat air vents and the US version does not??? smh
