Thank you Rob! Yes Prof is well able to fly, I used to free fly him quite a bit but nowadays he seems quite content to sit contently on my glove or on a nearby perch :)

When Proff passes on, i hope it does not put you off from getting another owl! It is hard losing an owl and getting another never replaces the ones we bond with. Its about seeing the quality of life Proff has had. He is living a life where he is safe, loved and cared for with constant food and companionship. He gets to live a life no wild owl would get. Stay strong. ❤

Thank you so much for your lovely message 😊 it's very kind of you! I have always said that i won't get another owl once Prof is gone but I guess I need to see how I feel once time passes. I won't be looking for a quick replacment but if I'm in a position where it naturally happens then so be it...
Even after all these years I still feel conflict regarding his life in captivity so thank you for your words regarding that. He has certainly had a long life full of companionship & love ❤
