Hello Joan, Thankyou so much for talking to us today, even if your day was not a good one, you shared, Thankyou for your honesty, you didn’t wear a mask, but gave us the real you. I feel sad that you are sad, but am praying that the coming day is better for you. Les and I have prayed for you and those who you love every night since lockdown started. Just think what a blessing it will be when you can have visitors, even if only in the garden with a two metre distance, you will have a good reason to make one of your delicious cakes and will be able to say, ‘I’m going out for coffee and cake with a friend!’ Perhaps you could bake for your carer this week and have a coffee in the garden. I will tell you a funny story about the WI when I have the time, they were wonderful and ended up sending me an enormous hamper of home made treats! Now Joan, you say you want a dog and the girls don’t agree, but what about a cat or kitten? You could gave a house cat maybe? They don’t need walks and have a lot of love to give, they are also great fun, they love playing in a cardboard box, or under a newspaper or just tossing a toffee paper in the air! Are you sure there isn’t a little kitten just longing for a loving home and lap to sit on? Sending you my love until we meet again in your next film clip, God.bless you Joan with peace and joy, Jilly x

Hello Joan, I feel sad if you’re feeling sad today, but I say, WELL DONE, for still giving us a blog when you feel down and thankyou for your honesty. Most of the time when asked how we feel we say that we are ok, even if we aren’t! So thankyou for your honesty. We pray for you and those who you love every night and I’m praying this coming week you will get better every day. Hopefully very soon you will be able to have family in your garden, or one of your WI ladies, even if you have to sit three metres apart! That way you can tell yourself that you are going out for a coffee! It will be the start of better times. Maybe you could make a cake for your carer and ask them to have coffee with you in the garden! Tell me is the white dog in the painting behind you the dog you at at the pub in Wilts? Sending much love and our prayers, Jilly and Les x
