I built an outdoor playcenter for the kids yesterday, today and deep cleaned my mini van for almost 3 hrs tonight, washed tons of dishes, did about 5 loads of laundry, made 2 full meals, petted my dog, played with the kids and picked up some trash along the roadside. All because I keep thinking Li ziqi would do more, I must do better. She's an inspiration!!

Then as time passed, people really started getting interest in her content so she hired two people to help her film her videos. The people also deal with the youtube side of things and translating to english.
My wife and I watch her videos whenever we feel exhausted, depressed and bored. Watching this channel gives us the divine feeling of happiness. Love from Bangladesh.
For this girl, nothing is instant everything is hard work. But she's showing us that nothing is hard when you put your heart into it. A perfectionist in a very nice way.
This is very touching. This is basically how my life was during my childhood. Same local language, same rice growing process, same cooking, same bamboo furniture, same environment. But after my mom passed away when I was 12, and I went to cities for study then, life had changed dramatically. Now that I am in Canada alone, I occasionally cook some traditional food for myself too, but not as good as these. Great to watch these videos and to bring my memories back to old times. Thank you.
not to mention she grew up with her grandparents who probably showed her how to do everything by hand like they do on farms like that. Many rural farms still don't have modern stuff like microwaves and internet. i find this kind of life hard but very rewarding as well.

Four decades ago, we Chinese didn’t have enough food for our usually big family, so we saved all the NICE things till the Chinese New Year, including the meat, egg, sugar and fabric .. etc, which were all distributed by the government under a ration system. Ours were really great mothers. They managed to hand-make nearly everything for the whole family, from big dishes, small cakes to clothes and shoes. Putting on new clothes and having a big dinner with family while fireworks lighting up the windows were the most beautiful memory of the childhood of my age.

When I was younger we would have the NYE party similar to this - not in term of food, but everything else. I can smell the incense, the cold air, the soil, the trees... Thank you for making this.

Love from Australia. I’ve been to the remotest (Grassland) part of Inner Mongolia, it’s so serene and calm, the road network is ultra modern though and mostly ran by solar power. It’s just amazingly beautiful and you really get to commune with nature. My perception from what China was took a great leap after seeing this beautiful part of the countryside.

I'm a mixed Chinese woman. Living in Hawaii my family taught us to learn to make and hunt without modern tech just in case if something happens we'll be fine. I pass down the knowledge to my children. I think it's important to pass down generations of knowledge, I'm sure my family thought so too.

@@jennychen8599在古代这些都是传统，但是随着城市化，大家都搬到城市住在高楼，邻里之间甚至都不认识。我小的时候家是农村的，全村人都认识，过年时候就像西方的万圣节一样到处去串门要糖吃。现在搬到城里了，年味越来越没有了。但是现在乡下农村基本还有这些习俗，只是城里可能都没了，所以现在很多人都喜欢去农村过年。而且现在农村建设的也蛮不错，道路交通都还挺好的

She’s got a mere cat oven , a lamb, two puppies, several hens and roosters. She’s the most beautiful women in China and of course an adorable granddaughter of her grandma. This video made me cry like a baby. I haven't been able to celebrate lunar new year with my family in 7 years, and my grandparents all passed. When I was younger we would have the NYE party similar to this - not in term of food, but everything else. I can smell the incense, the cold air, the soil, the trees... Thank you for making this.

I have no doubt that the work you do is extremely hard. Just the filming alone looks to be quite involved. I came to realize by the end of the first video I watched that you do all of your own filming. The fact that the camera is always stationary means that you must set up every shot ahead of time and then for some scenes, even film from different angles. The complexity of your editing, composition, musical flavor and placement as well as the sheer perfection of the content are nothing short of brilliant.

In a few of her videos, she had to go up to the mountains to gather ingredients and bamboo to build furniture. It's not as easy a life as you think. She is just very good at it.

But in the rural areas, people did live like this (some still do now)

I'm a mixed Chinese woman. Living in Hawaii my family taught us to learn to make and hunt without modern tech just in case if something happens we'll be fine. I pass down the knowledge to my children. I think it's important to pass down generations of knowledge, I'm sure my family thought so too.
