Spearfishing a Permit away from TWO hungry Goliath GROUPERS!

- Whats Going on everyone,
In this video, I take you along with me out on the boat. It has been a long time since we have had a calm day on the water sooo we pack everything and went out. We start the day by going some bottom fishing and were getting destroyed by big fish and couldn't get them to the top soooo I decided we were going down there. So I suit up and hit the ocean floor and there was life everywhere sooo of the biggest mangrove snapper, sheephead, snook I have every seen. So we load up the fish ring and was doing one final run though the barge before heading back up and a solo permit came cruising by. It was a long shot but it was definitely worth it and I have never shot one either. As soon as I get a spear in it a pair of Goliath groupers try to take a easy meal and swim off, but I was able to gain control of the fish and start heading up with my permit.
