Congrats on the new rig. I have the same 4R in solar octane, also with the OEM hood deflector. Mine came with the predator side steps, which imo look great but offer no protection.

These are nice. I may have to add these untamed. I did it. Deposit today on Solar octane 4runner. Decided not to wait for a 24. Giving up my full size tundra Pro LunaRock. Don’t need a full size truck and miss the 4runner.

@@UntamedMotors thanks!! Question not sure if you would know. Will the RSG sliders still work with the Talonsgarage cat plates? I don’t think they would interfere. Also I checked there web site. Did not see it. How far do they stick out at the door location?

A friend of mine just sold his 2019 SR5 4Runner for a 2023 Limited trim 4Runner. He heard the V6 4.0L was going away. I’m surprised it didn’t come with a power lift gate though. Do you know if it can be dealership installed? That lift gate is pretty tough on a short small woman to raise and lower. That’s one reason (back in 2018) we purchased a Highlander over a 4Runner.
Surprised your garage offered enough clearance to tuck it inside considering the roof basket gives it that extra bit of height. Do you have any recommendations for a dash cam not only the front but possibly a rear one as well and the most efficient way to wire the system?
Why didn’t you go with Westcott designs? I know you have used them before, and your page guided me to add the rocksliders and lift kit to my own 4Runner. Overall great review !
I don’t have a preference between Westcott and RSG. Both make a phenomenal product. RSG is just an hour and half south of where I live so I decided to just pickup a set while I was down there for a mini family vacation. 👍 I’ll still likely get a Westcott lift for this.

What is the black trim on the bottom of the rocker panel? Aftermarket?
I personally like the look of 4Runners with no side steps or sliders.

I have no sliders and the whole undercarriage is viewable and kind of ugly. Just bought some rock sliders to hide that lol
sweet ride! Hey would you suggest a brand of running boards for my parents 22 Lexus RX 350? The factory ones look useless, and they would only be used to help my mom climb in the car. RSG doesn't have them for the RX, I think! Thanks!

Nice ride. Am considering RSG for my TRD PRO too. What does the space between the sliders and body measure? Also, how far out does the kick out measure beyond the stock tires you are running?
There is just a 2.5in gap. But you can adjust this slightly… 👌 the kickout extends 4.5inches beyond my tires.

Not sure if you’d dare do any lighting mods but morimoto headlights with the orange would look crazy on this car… and some interior LEDs

@@dawsidaws they worked great, no complaints. Wouldn’t say they’re “better” than OEM though. 21+ 4Runner TRD pros come with exceptional LED bulbs.

Sliders look great! I have pro tundra question for you. Would you go with the sliders or the automatic running boards. I probably won’t do a lot of off reading but you never know. I’ll do a Wescott leveling kit and 35 ko2
That’s a tough one… both are great options. I like the sleek look of the auto ones but also appreciate the added protection with the sliders. I should so have a discount code for Go Rhino Electric E1 Boards… think it’s “untamed-e1” which will save you a total of 30%. 👍 Have a couple videos of them too.
You have had both - RSG and Westcott. Think pricing is similar. Are they equally as good in your opinion? Thanks for your thoughts.

Ditch the grpplers and put on th KO2's. Letters out. Would look much better. Nice sliders. Lil pricey.
