- The Catapult 1A1 is an excellent SRM boat if a bit flimsy and easy to hit at that. It also requires a sacrifice in form of running an XL engine if you want to try out this hard-hitting combination of 6x SRM6 with Artemis. Enjoy!

I run spitfire with 12xSRM6 it is glorious, hard to position but once you do...
This video reminded me why I like my SR-3 with 6 SRM Artemis and 6 medium pulse. A little slower at 57kph, though...
Doing similar thing with MAD-4HP but with more standard SRMs

BY FAR the best catapult build of all. ah yes people who play assault mechs that are lacking in the assaulting.

I still don't know what the special move is but it seems to be a popular maneuver.
Why use SRMs with Artemis instead of just plain SRMs? What is the advantage to having Artemis?
Less spread on the missle pattern. You can focus a bit more on components using artemis. Very helpfull if u max de attack distance.
what he said. tbh even at knife range the splat from standard SRMs can still spread out a bit too much especially since you're shooting from the arms.
how does this compare to the huntsman pakhet?
pakhet from my experience is way hotter, good for short engagements sure, but the splat cat would have more sustain in a brawl. also being able to shoot all 6 without ghost heat is fun
Pakhet is faster but doesn't have the armour or sustain of the Catapult. Also can't alpha without ghost heat while the Catapult has SRM HSL+2.
Finally have to ask: what exactly is the "special move"?
Dying behind a corner or wall in a way that you only come into my vision as your mech explodes.

5:08 Ugh indeed, I wish assaults would, y'know, assault already. I swear with most of the assault play I see they might as well drop their engine way down for more weapons and heat sinks, even 20 KPH is way more than they need. But of course dare to suggest any changes and you're accused of stupid shit like "smooth brain gameplay." I swear we need a lance of Locusts as blocking divisions behind assaults like the Soviets from WW2 to stop them from retreating and keep them moving forward.🙄
I'll be closest to the enemy in my AMS kitfox with 3 medium lasers and jokingly say i'll be the brave one in my 30 ton assault mech, while the rest of the team is scratching their leg paint against each other behind me.
Ill be pushed forward in my assualt with my teams med and light mechs while other assualts dont push up
