Thanks for the info! I saw those but I was not quite certain if they were what I needed. I will probably add those this summer. I have big plans for my bike :)
Looks 100% better....I have seen Urban Assaults pics and a couple others. I think I am slowly warming to the idea of Frankensteining my R with the Scg suspension and Scg Tail and cleaning up the rear with a variation on what you guys have done.....well done!
Thanks! My dad has an 1125R so he has the same R tail, he really wants to do something like I did to get rid of the "bull nose" light. I think the R tail may have a harder time doing something like what I did. If you get it done, post it as a video response!
Sorry for the late response. I have never ridden on Firebolt, but I have ridden my Dad's 1125 for a short bit. His seat was pretty squishy compared to mine. I really want to get my seat redone by Baldwin, some memory foam and gel inserts :) Right now my seat kills my back and butt after an hour, so I have to take very frequent breaks between long rides.
My Dad rode behind me for a while in day and at night, he said he can see the blinkers just fine. However, I would like to wire it in a way that the brake light for that side turns off while the blinker is on, which will help the blinker contrast better and improve visibility even more.
Absolutely and your welcome. I was actually thinking of swapping the R tail for the lighting low so it might be a neater fit. I have never ridden an S though, do you find it more comfortable than the R(strictly saddle wise)? I have been doing a lot of long hauls lately and the R seat tends to start biting back after 150 miles or so...anyhoot still looking good second time watching the vid!!
sorry I missed your comment. I got 2 dual element circuits because I have 2 halves for my tail light. Although, it really depends on how you wire it. You could probably use one, then split the wires afterward, I didn't do the voltage and current calculations so I can't say how differently the lights will work.
Love this and actually bought the specific kit from Ray at Radiantz. I know you used two dual element circuits, the kit only came with one. I'm trying to sort out if i need another or if you can tie the R/L signal wires into one going to the single circuit? I may just be dumb but not sure that would then turn the signals into hazards haha.Just curious how you wired up the circuit or where to go with the single circuit
I sold the bike a few years ago so I can't go check for you. I don't remember if I used 2 dual element circuits. I would think you can just split the single wire output from the dual element to power the red in parallel for both sides. If you wanted to have the red turn off when the amber came on then you might need 2 of them, but then you'd need some other stuff as well.
christian corona The material is just from a sheet of perforated stainless steel you can buy at hardware stores. Nothing special. I just cut it out to fit the shape of the tail light.
It does have a 3M adhesive back, it was strong enough to hold it on the bike for years even with that heavy bend. I did use a heat gun to help it flex and adhere easier though because it is a 3D curve.

Very cool. We took the cheese grater on our XB and fabricated the devil horns out of it.

that rear end looks tight, great job
...Nice...BUT....when will it stop cars from turning left in front of you...?
Nice job bro. You should install subframe spacers and just mount your tag to the flat area below where the battery area is
Very nice, Going to install this on my new bike, wasn't sure though, until i saw this. Nice work!
The LED strips are in a clear tube, which attaches to the bike with a 3M automotive adhesive tape.
So clean!!! Should come out like that stock!!!
looks really nice, great job!
amazing work u did.

I like it. Looks very tidy.
That looks badass! Nice job.
Looks really good, man!
Very cool mod. Could you share how you mounted and connected yours? Thanks!

looks very clean, good job man!
How many of the dual element circuits did you use? Looks great!!
well done, looks great.
looks great!
Curious...how does the LED attach to the the upper part..is it embedded in inside or attached onto the surface?
Nice job man! I think ill have to steal this one from you for my city x. thumbs up
Loving it, thinking of getting one of these bikes after selling my hayabusa.
The light bar comes with wires soldered to one end, will the whole bar work without soldering wires to the other end?
Beautiful nicely done.
Great look!
looks like those turn signals get washed out quite a bit even in your garage... in bright daylight i cant imagine theyd be very visible
Its awesome, how are they mounted?
Solid man. Good Work
Badass looking
u should put an brake only loght in the cheese grader to shine through it
Looks great man. Did you use the led flasher mod as well?
The kit I used was a solid strip. I had to cut it into 2 and solder on new wires to make it work.
Cool dad
Why do you have Blue reflectors on your license plate? :S
Looks smick dude!
It was a 1 foot, 100 LED strip, and I think I had a 6 LED piece left over, so I think 96 LEDs are on the tail.
If I remember correctly, I used 92 LEDs. That leaves 46 per half if you are asking for the dual element circuit rating.
Wow so expencive..whatever great work! Way much better than original!
Was the Radiantz a solid strip, or two separate strips? (Looks great by the way!)

My first bike is a buell blast, i could use some ideas. I subscribed.
Did you have to do anything to make it bend like that? I'm afraid of breaking mine.
That is BADASS
Badass.
hey, can you tell me what this model are? its from radiantz, but i wanna know which is.
thanks
very, very nice, better put a membran behind headlight grid!
Hi, I knows it is very old video... But what type of bar end mirrors You used with orginal hadguards??
I don't remember, I think they were some universal mirrors I got off amazon, nothing special.
Where did you get the cheese grater?
where can I buy it
Where can i get the cheese grader ?
how did you do that ?
One more question lol, I can't find a slick underseat cover. Where did you find one?
I'm not sure what you mean underseat cover, are you talking about the part filling in the old tail light?
@TheKingPinDamo Ha, fine with me! I got the idea from Urban Assault on the Buell forums, so I am not the first! Let me know if you need help!
Do you sell something like this?
How many of the dual element circuits did you have to use?
Christian Jesmore I used 2 of the dual element circuits. One for each side on the red (since its split into 2 halves)
I like it
Thanks!
What tail light option is this??? I have xb9sx 06... Need this
I custom made it using the Radiantz LEDs. You can't buy this pre-made in stores.
NICE
what is ur motorcycle ????
i need that cheese grader ... contact me if you are willing to sell me one . from what i understood its custom made

where in nc are you located bro?
Brycen Green Sorry this is late. I'm not in NC anymore. Used to be in Charlotte, but now I'm in LA.

lievai padares jau pas mane geriau
Too bad...sold out...
Does the led have an adhesive backing? How did you mount it?
It does have a 3M adhesive back, it was strong enough to hold it on the bike for years even with that heavy bend. I did use a heat gun to help it flex and adhere easier though because it is a 3D curve.
