actually seeing that california dreams midge gave me the idea of how great it would be to see a doll with vitiligo. like barbie has come a long ways with this new ' sort of ' plus sized and different height dolls i think it would be really great for little kids with vitiligo or albinoism to see representation of themselves, especially in a fashion play line.
Great video and haul! I grew up with the 80s and 90s Barbies too so this was really interesting to watch. I was actually going through a few of my old Barbies and Skippers today with my daughter so it's lovely that she can see how they used to be. Thank you for sharing 😊
Hi Elvira!! I just wanted to say that this video inspired me to go on eBay and look at vintage barbies to add to my collection. Thank you so much! I found a auction for the blonde and the red head paint n style barbie from 1993, and we won the bid! We ended up paying less than $20 with shipping included! Thank you so so so much!!!
Wow, I almost cried when I saw Secret Hearts Barbie because I had gotten her as a Christmas present when I was a child. I remember loving her dress, I was into iridescent at the time... Thanks for posting, it was an awesome blast to the past!
Great collection! I've been a Barbie fan ever since I got my brunette American Girl in 1966 - and I still have her! The 80s and 90s dolls are interesting, if not over-the-top. Today I collect some of the Fashionistas because of their all-around diversity. I also have a couple of reproduction dolls that I either missed or played with too much back in the day.I go to Walmart now and still get a kick out of the Barbie line. Sadly they're not as interesting and well-made as the ones from my youth. 😪Two things ruled my childhood heart - Motown and Barbie! And still rule my adult heart! ❤ Enjoy your collection - and keep it away from little kids.
This was such a fun video to watch for nostalgic reasons. 80s baby , 90s kid right here. I loved how much colour change things were around back then! :D
Most of these were made before I was born in 1993. It's always super awesome to see these older dolls. My favorite babies are from the 90's as that's when I grew up with them :)
Half of these were made after we was born I was born in 1992 in 1993 Earring Magic Barbie, Paint N Dazzle Barbie and Secret Hearts Barbie were released but luckily Stacie was still new then
Oh my gosh... Pogs... Its been so long. I still have some as well. We had the pog maker... so we made pogs of pictures with the cats and everything. Such a blast from the past.
This is what I call an "AWESOME TOY HAUL" You and your mother are so lucky to be able to obtain those kinda vintage Barbie collection!!! Brought me memories :D
I have California Dream Ken since childhood and his legs have also turned spotty. I still have Happy Meal Todd. I used to have that Babysitter Skipper. I still have the baby and her outfit I think. I also had Teen Fun but it was the one with the blue stripes. The Pet Pals doll is even cuter though.
Amazing Haul! The Earring Magic Ken is sometimes known as the gay Ken because of his mesh shirt, frosted tips, and jewelry. I've recently found some of these Barbies as well. They're starting to come out of people's attics.
Super fun video. I had several of the Barbies and skippers. I still have most of them but they have been played with. I still have my pog and slammer collection. I remember searching and trading pogs.
I had all of those dolls! Hollywood Hair was my absolute FAVORITE! This video brought back so many memories! Great collection. I laughed when you said you wanted to rescue that spotted leg Midge, I do that with dolls that have defects too-I feel bad for them and have to give them a home. Btw, I can't believe dolls I used to play with are now considered "vintage". Omg I'm getting old! Lol
Great video ! love those 80a and 90s vintage barbies in paticular the secret hearts Barbie and Ken dolls i remember seeing them in a toy shop when i was a kid , and i remember pogs too , my sister had loads of them lol thanks again :)
These are fabulous!! I really like them all!! My two favorites would be the Hearts couple they look so cute together, and like you I had the plastic hair Ken with a dimple they looked so handsome back then! ^^
yeah they are, like I have the butterfly princess Barbie, the 1990 happy birthday Barbie, and the costume ball Barbie as well as some of the happy meal Barbies from the 90s
I actually recognized some of these from my own childhood, but they belonged to my sister. We were very little when we played with them, so I mostly just remember the various accessories tumbling around in giant bins of toys. I'm actually thinking about one of my fancy collector barbies that I unceremoniously unboxed, stripped, and lost all the accessories for, then threw in a plastic tub somewhere. I'm cringing lol
I had that Babysitter Skipper as well as Babysitter Courtney. I had that Pet Pals Kevin, and I remember buying him a Kevin outfit. Back then, you could buy the different dolls clothes. Now, you cannot buy Skipper clothes or Stacie clothes, but you could then, and they had a few Kevin outfits. I also had Earring Magic Barbie (the blonde one with the pink dress) and Secret Hearts Barbie. I didn't have Happy Meal Todd or Stacie, but I had the other two: Happy Meal Janet and Happy Meal Whitney. Definitely loved Pogs too. Fun little trip down memory lane.
I love the channel ladies! I have everything shown, and around 400 in my personal collection. I could prob be your mother (lol, now i'm telling my age) I still love Barbie so much, and love to see new videos. Keep up the good work. :)
Oh my! I just realized where those weird McDonalds things came from X3 I have a clothing deprived Todd doll floating around the Barbie Bin and I also have all his accessories.... I never understood that they had belonged to him, because he came second-hand with the rest of my Barbies. I should probably redress him and fix him back up, sort of glad I stumbled upon this video. Well, I guess I should go find him and his pieces and set him right!
Let's Celebrate! You collect the houses too! Shall subscribe when I find we have the same favorites! God Bless! Love that you have Hollywood Hair Skipper!
love them all. Love the skippers. That is the face of Skipper I had as well. Love cool tops skipper. She is one of the first skippers i remember getting
My 1959 Barbie I bought for three dollars and it’s an original She sits on my vanity every single day in her box, because she did not have one of the big boxes sadly, the plastic on her swimsuit has deteriorated but I guess that just happens over time and she makes me happy
Wow, what a blast from the past! I had a lot of those Skippers when they first came out, and this makes me want to find them all again. I love the Anime eyes. Just about every collector I know has problems with that Midge doll, which is so sad because she has the most beautiful face. Maybe you could rebody her? I recently rebodied a bunch of old dolls using body donors I found at Goodwill for a dollar or two. One of my Whitney dolls has an articulated body now -- she has the same face mold as your Midge, and she looks adorable!
OMG! I'm doing the same! I'm looking to get back my childhoold 80's and 90's Barbie collection that was lost in a storage unit during an eviction/move out back in 2002! The last 90's dolls i got were Olympic Skater Barbie, Perfect Pink Teresa from late 90's, there might eb one more but can't remember off the top of my head lol I'm also looking and hoping to expand my collection with dolls I've always wanted but never had.
I love the Skippers that u got!! I recently bought Barbie and the Sensations on Ebay and the Belinda and Becky(Christie and Miko) have that same spotting problem on the legs but I love them cuz they remind me of my childhood 😁
How many beauties u got! 💖 So lucky! We share one barbie, the redhead Paint n' Dazzle. Btw I love all the skippers u got and this ones are the ones I'm used too despite I grew up in the 80's. And then I love Earring Magic and California Dream Midge, I have both in my wishlist but for Earring Magic Midge I'm looking for the european version with the blue dress since I love much better that color on her then yellow. And yes ur right, early 90's barbies have 80's looks, as well early 80's ones still have a bit of 70's influence. But cm'on open all of them!!!
I strongly like all them,I'm such a late bloomer when it comes to Barbie collecting and Marilyn collecting I hope I can luck up and buy someone's collection as well as MM collection one day
At first when I started collecting I bought everything but as became more Barbie educated and read books and stuff I bought more smartly and only buy of the new dolls what I like.
You bought a great selection of dolls, I really enjoyed this. :) I just bought a Happy Meal Janet this week and she is awesome! I also have a Skipper that's from the late 80's that has extreme spots like the Midge you bought. I love the face molds of the 90's Skippers, they have the cutest face. I had totally forgotten about Kevin, so he was cool to see and I love your Sailor Mars t-shirt :)
I love barbie! I have a sort of small collection. I don't have a favorite. I'm also looking for a few of my childhood dolls. I've got seven in mind. They are hard to find at an affordable price! Sad, I got rid of my childhood collection to a friend when I was about 16. Now I regret that move. So, I'm on the hunt for them. Love the video.
wow I am jealous!!!!! And btw I also just hauled the whole line of California Dream. And ONLY Midge has that same leper legs. The rest are fine....I am hunting for another MIdge from that line without leper legs :) And I think they used that Teresa head mold for Whitney (Barbie's cousin) for years later. And I like the comments you mean at the end. Because when I was a kid, I saw all these Barbie in the store (or in the little ads paper inncluded inside the box) but I had no money to buy them! And now I am grown up, I splurge in them mahwahahahaa
Hi there Love your video There is nothing you can do about the legs on that barbie you should take her cloths of and replace the legs as it can ruin the cloths. Another good thing is the old stickers that are on the plastic are a pain you can remove them with a rubber it won't hurt the plastic and it will come up great. I have done that to most of my barbie boxes and you can also wipe them down with a damp cloth it sure makes a difference to how the doll will look in a clean box Another good thing is remove all the old Sellotape it can do more harm than good from inside the box as well as the outside Also batteries remove them from the dolls that take them they will just ruin the doll and then won't work I do this to all my barbies that take batteries and then I put them back in the box. I have the same Teen Fun Skipper and her legs have those green spots, too. My Homecoming Queen Skipper has spots, too. But her spots are pink, not green.
Awesome review! And, very nostalgic! I loved the California Dream line....I started collecting around that time in the late '80's...great memories. Don't think my Midge has the spots though!!
I have tons of vintage Barbie's in box and never opened that I've been meaning to go through and see which I want to part with. Its SO hard! I love them all but they are in my closest in plastic bins. If I can ever work up the nerve I need to do the same. Wish you were closer so I could give you first choice I'd love for them to go to someone that would love them as much as I do! I collected them for my daughter and she just never loved them like I die. I even have a Coca Cola Barbie Soda shop that's really cute.
yes you did go crazy but everyone collects differently.yes try to go into the ore 80s glamour era like pink and pretty, loving you Barbie, peaches and creame and many more of this time.you have a nice collection. ;)
Sorry to bother you again but do you plain on taking these out of the boxes or leaving them in the box? Also where will you display them? I would love to see your display if you had time to video it.
Hello childhood. I had most of the skipper and stacy dolls. I still have my McDonalds Stacy, Todd, and the red haired one somewhere. I also collected pogs and I kinda felt old when you suggested to google it XD ALSO - did you ever make it through the "teen skipper" change?
They need a name for that era. Vintage is technically up to 1966, then it's Mod until the Superstar face came - I guess a lot of these could be called Superstar Era Barbie. But it IS pretty old and the collectors still aren't taking them into consideration but I think it's time.
Oh my!! You've caught the old school Barbie fever too!!!
Wow, this is an AWESOME collection! So cool to see how Barbie has changed over the years.
actually seeing that california dreams midge gave me the idea of how great it would be to see a doll with vitiligo. like barbie has come a long ways with this new ' sort of ' plus sized and different height dolls i think it would be really great for little kids with vitiligo or albinoism to see representation of themselves, especially in a fashion play line.
Jane Doe they make a vitiligo doll now!

I have the Last Barbie of hearts 💕!! My boyfriend gifted me on the New Year !!& she’s AWESOME!!Such a nostalgia & memories of childhood...😭☺️😊
as a kid, i was OBSESSED with Todd. i don't know why, but he always looked so cool to me. every time i looked at him, it felt like Christmas.

OMG!!!! So many memories!! I have a lot of dolls that got the leg problem thing, that sucks. WOW! I had the pet pal skipper!
Yes! These are the Barbies that I remember! My favorite was Island Fun Barbie, and I had the Skipper from that line as well. This video takes me back!

Oh yeah, that was the one bought out by the gay community. 😂😂😂
I love skipper's round innocent face! She has really grown on me.
Super fun video. I had several of the Barbies and skippers. I still have most of them but they have been played with. I still have my pog and slammer collection. I remember searching and trading pogs.

And I'm about 99.9% sure they don't make Kevin or Todd anymore.

Oh my gosh! I really love the Pog Barbie! Here in the Philippines, kids still play pogs and I am a fan of pogs as well. Hope I can have her soon.
This was such an awesome video! Brought up so many good memories of growing up in South Florida and playing with them...love vintage Barbie!
I have a few pieces of the baby sitter set, I had always wondered were it came from. So happy to know now. ^^
So cool! I just got back from a long vacation from China! Someone got me a few old fashioned barbie's they are from the 1970's. Love the video!
I actually recognized some of these from my own childhood, but they belonged to my sister. We were very little when we played with them, so I mostly just remember the various accessories tumbling around in giant bins of toys. I remember POG, I love the Skipper dolls I grew up in the late 80's early 90's
I still love Barbie's face from the early 90's. I used to love Teresa and Kira. Great video.
I want 50's and 60's Barbie and want to dress like my own Vintage Barbie. 💗
I love the channel ladies! I have everything shown, and around 400 in my personal collection. I could prob be your mother (lol, now i'm telling my age) I still love Barbie so much, and love to see new videos. Keep up the good work. :)

I have pet pals skipper out of box. didn't know who she was til this vid. ty !!!!
I used to have some Barbies from the early 90's but I sold them all at a yard sale way back when.
Hi there
Love your video
There is nothing you can do about the legs on that barbie you should take her cloths of and replace the legs as it can ruin the cloths.
Another good thing is the old stickers that are on the plastic are a pain you can remove them with a rubber it won't hurt the plastic and it will come up great. I have done that to most of my barbie boxes and you can also wipe them down with a damp cloth it sure makes a difference to how the doll will look in a clean box
Another good thing is remove all the old Sellotape it can do more harm than good from inside the box as well as the outside
Also batteries remove them from the dolls that take them they will just ruin the doll and then won't work
I do this to all my barbies that take batteries and then I put them back in the box.
Just some little tips on keeping your barbie collection looking nice.
Best of luck
And all the best.
Hayley from New Zealand.
im only 13 but im obbsessed with old barbies i wish i had some i LOVE to watch videos of them
Aaah ...they are so cute 😊🌸💓
Jesus!!! You're so lucky!!!! I waaaaant that Paint and Dazzle brunette in leggings 😭😭😭💖💖💖
Yay I've been hoping you would! That's what I collect. Awesome!!! Craigslist is good! Ebay is a tad expensive for them
Oh! And I've got Secret Hearts Barbie and Ken too 💖💖💖
I have 70's disco Barbie, earring magic Barbie, Hollywood hair Barbie, and sport and shave ken In the box still. Even though in 11.
Sweet! This is trending again!
I have the same Teen Fun Skipper and her legs have those green spots, too.
My Homecoming Queen Skipper has spots, too. But her spots are pink, not green.
I also grew up playing with Barbie dolls and my cousin has Lot's of Barbie dolls
Awesome review! And, very nostalgic! I loved the California Dream line....I started collecting around that time in the late '80's...great memories. Don't think my Midge has the spots though!!
The California Dream Midge is the first doll I remember receiving as a present :-)
probably the doll's legs was sun damaged or because the doll was probably old
I love 90s Barbie dolls. And I also prefer how Ken looked more mature and manly.
I like your sailor moon poster
Please show more babies from 80s and 90s. I would love to see original Polly Pocket!! :)
You could probably find replacement Barbie legs somewhere online and remove Midge's spotted ones!
I really want to have Barbie swan lake, so beautiful and elegant n vintage..I wish I could found it in my country
oooh I have the three earring magic barbs but not ken. I love them a lot. never took em out of box.
Just FYI the Ken in the earring magic was very unheard of at the time, and he is worth money now, and very sought after. I have 2. :)
jenna thesingingdraghagdiva not really. You can find him for $15-$25
I had the Swan one!! I took 8t out of the box though. I could never keep them on the box. my mom wasn't to happy. lol.
My one Teen Sweetheart Skipper had the spotting legs. :( BTW Nice doll haul, poster and shirt.

I think that's Barbie as the swan queen
Nice I like dolls too
I would just collect theTeen skippers and probably, the Jazzie Barbies but I had the Barbie in the set with that Midge with the spotted legs.
yes you did go crazy but everyone collects differently.yes try to go into the ore 80s glamour era like pink and pretty, loving you Barbie, peaches and creame and many more of this time.you have a nice collection. ;)
I have always been partial to Skipper.
I had a Hollywood hair Barbie when I was a kid
Omg yass girl!! We wouldve been besties lmao!!
no fair! 2000's mcdonalds never gave us huge boxes with dolls!
I saw a barbie at good will today that had the tanning mishap spots on her legs!
I have California Dream Barbie! I’m trying to find a midge despite the leg discoloration issues :)
My Midge from California Dreams also have that. Only Midge. Not Teresa; Not Barbie. Just Midge. Love your videos btw!
Sorry to bother you again but do you plain on taking these out of the boxes or leaving them in the box? Also where will you display them? I would love to see your display if you had time to video it.
Congrats on what you found lately I've been really into this I have 4 orders if barbies coming from eBay haha 😃
I had pet pals skipper when I was little...I have no idea where the doll disappeared to but I still have her dog which is really weird XD
Some 90s Barbies had discoloration of the legs too
the 90s Barbie dolls I ordered from eBay doesn't at all have discoloration of the legs
.these are soo cool!!
I love Earring Magic Barbie doll I need her!
Hello childhood. I had most of the skipper and stacy dolls. I still have my McDonalds Stacy, Todd, and the red haired one somewhere. I also collected pogs and I kinda felt old when you suggested to google it XD ALSO - did you ever make it through the "teen skipper" change?
