For scents that are too strong for you, I recommend spraying them on your ankles, skirt/pants hem, or on your shower curtains or bathroom area! That's how I've been panning my "meh" scents these past couple of years 😊
Okay I just sprayed that Orris perfume on my shower curtain and it’s a game-changer! It smells wonderful, thank you for the tip! And I like the idea of spraying it on my ankles/ pant hems so I can smell it but it’s not too close to my nose all day Thank you again! ❤
Wow, so happy you filmed this!! I looove seeing what fragrances everyone is enjoying❤ And your "project scent" sounds amazing, would totally watch it! I'm afraid I don't know much about creamy scents as I'm green fragrances lover (for reference, my top three picks are Comme des Garcons Play Green - minty herbs, Voyages Imaginaires Tea and Rock'n'roll - earl grey green tea and Santa Maria Novella Cala Rossa - Mediterranean hearbs and salt water), buuut... I kinda feel you might love some drinks-based fragrances? Arielle Shoshana has a very interesting line which include 5 scents that has matcha horchata scent (Sunday) and London fog one too (Monday). Other three sounds fascinating too - I'm personally very interested in minty-guava-coconut spa one (Tuesday). Maybe look into Narcotica Happy dust - the only vanilla perfume I ever loved, it is so silky and barely sweet, perfectly balanced. I enjoyed my decant way more than I expected. And maybe Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere? I heard good things about it and it sounds like something you might want to look into!
Thank you so much for all of these recs! I hadn't heard of green fragrances before and I LOVE the idea of a Matcha or London Fog fragrance. Thank you again ❤️
I have the nirvana black and I am obsessed with it but it's old now so I am working through it so I can enjoy it before it goes bad and hope to find a dupe at some point. That whole line was awesome I also am hopeful that they bring it back! Commodity gold is gorgeous it's on my wish list. For the samples I own it's 3 at a time right now and I do it by what scents I feel per the season I am in. That and panning two perfumes one being nirvana black I get to wear something different every day while trying out and using what I have.
Lovely video Tash!! This has suddenly reminded me that I think I have a duo set of the E&J Nirvana black and white perfume rollers NIB, and I'm pretty sure I have the black version as a solid perfume too. Problem with moving so often, is I have no idea where in the apt they currently are. 😅 So much of scents really does depend on body chemistry, so naturally there's a lot of conflicting messages on Fragrantica. In regards to something creamy or milky (lactonic accords), I have a soft spot for Diptyque's "Philosykos" EDP. It's fresh and figgy, but once the top notes disappear, on me it has a more coconut milk vibe in the dry down. The projection is not that high, but it has some pretty decent sillage. For the high price tag it doesn't have great longevity though, but I'm ok reapplying it quickly after ~4-5 hours. ⏰ I'm currently very seriously considering saving up some pennies to buy Jordan Samuel Pacitti's debut fragrance "Cortile Dolce", which he describes as his love letter to Sicily. 💸 The cost of fragrances is just becoming more and more nutty every year, so once in a while I definitely hit up Dossier etc. It can be very hit or miss, but my goodness it is *so worth it* when you come across a gem at that price point.
Thank you for all of this info! I had the same trouble when we moved, I kept remembering I had something and couldn’t remember where it ended up 😂 And That love letter to Sicily perfume sounds amazing! ❤
Oh man, that big city experience of loathing the inconvenience of driving an hour or two to reach the opposite end of the metro area… sadly relatable! A friend of mine moved to my city for a year and I barely saw her because she lived literally on the opposite side of town and it was so inconvenient for us both (especially with small children).
I agree that redeeming a voucher at Sephora is very annoying! The closest standalone Sephora is over an hour away from me. It doesn’t make sense for me to drive all that way just to Redeem a mascara voucher. I really wish they would allow to redemption at any Sephora store location
Every time my partner and I would go to Ross Park from our rental apartment (which was a frequent occurrence for a period of several years when we had practically no furniture and ended up at Ikea every few months), we had to go through BOTH Squirrel Hill tunnel and Fort Pitt bridge -- I can't think of anywhere else I've ever been in the country that has worse drivers than the stretch between those two points lol. The sense of relief I felt when we bought our house south of the city and I realized that I don't have to go through those two places to go shopping where I want was a mix of freeing and ridiculously humorous. I've been to the Sephora in Shadyside once or twice but I was always too nervous to attempt driving there by myself and figuring out parking -- when the warm weather comes back, I might attempt it because I really don't want to blind buy perfumes and I think they had a different selection available than other stores I had been in around the same time
Oh no going through both tunnels is a lot! We sometimes have to do that and we try to do it when we know it won't be busy, it still often takes longer than we think it will haha
fun video. a perfume tells so much about a person. in my case im a floral or gormand girl and my signature sent now is chloe signature edp. it mixes so well with other perfumes i might use. perfume layering is so fun, i usually put one in the morning and when it fades i put another one on. you have so many interessting perfumes. what about one perfume pr day project pan or a layering project pan??. hope your well and have a great weekend. love ya
I need to start layering perfumes, I think I'm just nervous it'll smell gross and I'll be stuck smelling like that all day 😂😂 But I like the idea of trying the layer later on in the day, I'll try it! ❤️
Nirvana Bourbon is my favorite perfume of all time! It continues to be my signature scent and I will forever try to hunt it down. I have one full bottle left as back up and I hope it doesn’t run out for a long time!!!
I found a few similar scents to Nirvana Bourbon mentioned in a forum if it helps! ❤️ Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille Perry Ellis Black Vanilla Absolute Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanilla
It takes me about a week to go through perfume samples. I would only pick out 3 a month max, if you still want to wear your full size perfumes. Just a suggestion

I loved the Elizabeth and James fragrances and will always be a little sad that they're gone
I loved the bourbon and the rose versions more than the original and I'm so sad I can't buy them anymore
they're still on discounters like fragrance net or fragrance but if you ever wish for another bottle.
I also really loved nirvana white. So sad it was discontinued 😢
I put all my samples in a velvet bag, so I couldn't see them. I'd reach in every day and randomly grab one. That was the scent of the day!
So smart!
I love the idea of getting to randomize it! ❤️
I’m also going to go through all of my perfume samples this year!
Yay, good luck! ❤

I love perfume! The white Elizabeth and James was so good I miss it 😢
I miss it too 😫

I like that idea of getting to switch around but in a more organized way so nothing gets neglected! ❤️
Im excited for a perfume project!
I'm glad you're excited, I am too! ❤️

I got my Nirvana White almost completely unused off poshmark!!
Id try looking there too!

Someone in the comments mentioned that you can redeem some vouchers online, it might be worth checking to see if you can! ❤

@@TooMuchTash try it on a piece of paper first, i do that always. haha at least you dont smell like nothing.
@ Oooh this is such a good idea, thanks!!
@@TooMuchTash glad to help. have a great day
You can redeem the full size fragrance voucher online too!!
That’s so good to know they finally modernized the process, thanks for letting me know! ❤

It really is a beautiful scent! 💔
I just keep 4 sample sized perfumes separately and try to use them as much as possible. This way I get better understanding, do I like it or not 😊.
I like the idea of only focusing on a few at a time! ❤
I'm still holding onto the last bits of Nirvana Bourbon! Still looking for the perfect replacement
I found a few similar scents to Nirvana Bourbon mentioned in a forum if it helps! ❤️

That's a good point! I think you're right, 10 is likely way too many ❤️❤️
Gracias 🇪🇸
I miss Elizabeth and James so much. Black was my absolute favorite but White was a close 2nd
I can still order Elizabeth and James perfumes here in Germany, if you need a restock please hit me up!
Omg where do you buy them?
@@alevsahin1428 Some webshops offer them such as Deelox and Parfumzentrum
Wait, can you still get Nirvana White in Germany?? I've been looking around but it seems the White version has been discontinued everywhere
@@TooMuchTash Some perfume wholesalers and webshops still sell them, my best guess is that they might be old stock.
I always redeem vouchers online.
I'm glad Sephora has updated their policy, that makes things so much easier! ❤️
natasha!please come torednote to upload your shorts!❤🎉🎉🎉
Haha I'm not sure I have another social media app in me! 👵
