'I Found 8 Dead Cockroaches In My Dosa At Madras Coffee House in Delhi' | The Quint

On 7 March, Ishani and her friend went for lunch at Madras Coffee House in New Delhi's Connaught Place. According to her, the plain Dosa she ordered had as many as eight dead cockroaches. The cafe has apologised for the lapse but she wants strict action to be taken to avoid health hazards that could lead to severe illnesses.

As a uk citizen I visited India for the 1st time last year my family originally from India from my experience the food in India is the best but the hygiene is really bad and should be addressed promptly, am sure everyone would like clean food and preparation taken vigorously its giving India a bad name. Think you wouldn’t want your own family members or yourself to eat food that’s not been prepared or cooked in an unhygienic way it’s only logical

When other checks are being done, there is no time for food safety dept to do frequent checks at hotels. Hygiene has to be made important at eateries. Don’t know how and when it will happen.
