I agree with most of what Mark said, but i don't think this housing market will crash and stay low for 6-8 years. Personally, i believe it will more likely be a 2-3 years decline, and start to turn around after that, because population growth, and housing shortage. Canada is worse than US on housing shortage issue, and you and I both know how long it takes from applying for permit to finished housing product. There will be less number of housing units get built in the next 2-3 years, and shortage will get even worse. Rent will start to go up again in 2-3 years, and followed by property price when investors return. Just my personal opinion though. Don't quote me on that!
I totally agree what Mark said. I never follow someone so closely, but this guy has the combination of the East and the West. The bottom line is he knows the cycle of Macro and the Cycle of Qi. He deeply understands the Qi has fully left the Northeast Earth Path and it has finally entered the South Fire Path which has nothing to do with Real estate.

@@markxiao 你是卖家经济， 至少我们的买家经济说了， 事情该怎么做就怎么做， 如果是他的责任他会负责， 你说哦你们不想买是不是现在房价降了啊！ 这样的话也说得出来， 当时应该是15年左右，根本不是房价降的问题， 是因为地下室不动翻建1/2 楼房然后广告上写的是brand new house ， 如果你不说也不会让人反感你知道吗？ 请认识自己的错误和如果像我们的经济那样知道是自己大部分的责任然后说出有事情就负责这样也好一点， 会让人感觉事情了了就算了这样。

学生来的少了，印度人都是群居。其实租金最近还在下跌。

虽然人数可能还是再增长，但如果这边增长的是穷人，但另一头富人在减少，对房价的增长还是会影响的；以前来8个人住2套房，现在来8个人能挤在一个2房里面，租房市场也会受影响。总体不太看好，L型底要走一段时间
