Spandau & Duran were the top bands out of the new Romantic/ New wave from 1980 to 1985, and their videos were the best of the best, in fact John Taylor from Duran and the Kemps and the singer from Ballet are good actors , and yes, both bands were rivals back in the day , now friends, still touring and give us great 🎶

(*Sing-along*) lyrics:
_This is the song of little Jo_
_She's not the girl I used to know_
_Forever screaming all the day and night_
_She used to be a diplomat_
_But now she's down the laundromat_
_They washed her mind and now she finds it hard_
_I know her name_
_But now she never seems the same_
_She don't talk to me_
_'Cause she can't take no sympathy_
_Because she's highly strung_
_Oh, highly strung, she's undone_
_Highly strung_
_Highly strung, she's undone_
_She's stepping out upon the ledge_
_She's got a gun against her head_
_She's wired up to blow the power line_
_She's walking out upon the knife_
_She'll take you to the edge of life_
_Just like the song, the pressure's on again_
_I know her name_
_Ho, but now she never seems the same_
_She don't talk to me_
_'Cause she can't take no sympathy_
_Because she's highly strung_
_Oh, highly strung, she's undone_
_Highly strung_
_Oh, highly strung, she's undone_
_(sax solo)_
_(guitar lead)_
_No, no, no, ho_
_I know her name_
_Ho, but now she never seems the same_
_She don't talk to me_
_She can't take no sympathy_
_Because she's highly strung_
_(Highly strung)_
_Oh, highly strung, she's undone_
_Highly strung_
_(She's high)_
_Oh, highly strung, she's undone_
_Highly strung_
