April 2024...just saw Incognito a few nights ago and this lady was the only one missing!!!!

there is nothing like listening to real instruments and soulful singing as apposed to today's repetitive beat machines, and disrespectful negative cursing and shouting. i was born in 1956 i grew up listening to real instruments and real singers that gave good vibrations. artist that could take over your soul for the moment and make you feel the make you feel the power of the music. the good vibrations of the music, great post thank you MrMusicmanny,, love saves the day!

clearly remember the first time I heard the Marvin Gaye/ Tammi Terrell on the radio. It was a magic moment which had lasted a life time. Valerie Simpson Nick Ashford have been a huge part of my musical foundation. I celebrate his life and I cherish his work. Love you Valerie I knew it was arrogant of me to even tamper with this masterpiece, but gave me tremendous joy as a musical arranger to find another path trough this great song. Having Jocelyn sing it was just the icing on top.
