    Brilliant showcase of this truck G
    Exactly what it wants
    Some sand 🤣😎💯
    It handles as if it’s on rails out there💯😁

    That's the perfect spot for that RC! What an amazing place to bash! 140F is still in the safe zone like someone else mentioned 👍.

      Thank you, this is fast becoming one of my all-time favorite rcs, definitely my all-time favorite 4s rc. It handles amazing and is so much fun to play with!

      I think so too! No paddles necessary. The tire tread is perfect for the sand.

    Fantastic! Best video I’ve seen of this truck. Seems like many tubers are driving it like a basher monster truck.

    • @RCdune
      @RCdune  ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you liked it! I agree it is not a monster truck. This is more like a track car, it handles like the buggies.

    I been say this all along, "10th scale rig with an 8th scale package." I could easily set up 120amp-4300 3650 on a 2s 30c 5800 on my Senton and know it would keep up! I even fabbed the nerfs so my body don't shake. That "Baby Mo" is just for travel size entertainment. Great review!🛻💨🏁👍

    Do you think this is better than the bigger 6s mojave ?

    • @RCdune
      @RCdune  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The. Mojavie 6s is faster,but the 4s handles better, and i think it's a lot more funner to play with, I would recommend the 4s over the 6s mojavie. I think this new mojavie 4s is one of the best arrma's to come out ever.

  • @i4nic256
    @i4nic256 ปีที่แล้ว

    I love my 6S Mojave, but I hate all the debris in the chassis after running. Does that dirt shield built into the Mojave 4S body actually keep out sand and debris?

    • @RCdune
      @RCdune  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really, you'll see in my next video that I added some duck tape on the slats in the front. When you're turning the tire kicks it straight into the hole. Covering up the hole worked a little bit, but I think its a car that would benefit from a Dusty Motors cover.

    • @i4nic256
      @i4nic256 ปีที่แล้ว

    Running in sand will make any electric run a little hot .

    • @RCdune
      @RCdune  ปีที่แล้ว

      The sand got extremely packed in and stopped the fans from working is what did it, I normally don't have an issue with electronics getting this hot in the sand.

  • @K5_RC
    @K5_RC ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thing is absolutely badass!!
    Yeah, mine gets really really hot too, and it just EATS my batteries. I only get about 4 minutes of run time no matter the battery setup I use. My Senton gets about 14 minutes with the same batteries. Idk how to solve that! Any tips?

    • @Shellzwick
      @Shellzwick ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say a bigger esc and better lipo rating

    • @MrtipRC
      @MrtipRC ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I'm seeing more people with the same issues , getting hot and short run times .

    • @RCdune
      @RCdune  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If your running 3s in both, then because of the size difference, you will get a shorter run time in the Mojave. To keep it from getting hot, upgrade the fans. After a few more battery packs in, I think I might upgrade the esc.

    • @K5_RC
      @K5_RC ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RCdune I run a 3S in both, and the same 2S packs in both. And the Mojave just eats em up 😅

    Any issues with the body getting stuck in the post holes? Saw a video that took way toc uch to get that body back off. Definitely put me off wanting one.

    • @RCdune
      @RCdune  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it really gets stuck on there! Firt time I took the body off I cut both my pinky fingers on the body! I might ream the holes lit a little bigger so that doesn't keep happening, I think sand was getting stuck in there and jamming it up.

  • @lukerecore
    @lukerecore ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ya dude that is what I don't like about spectrum motors they get way to hot. That's why I'm buying a hobby star esc and motor. Im a basher so i don't need a sensored esc and motor. But hobby star has a temp sensor.

    • @RCdune
      @RCdune  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    140f is perfectly safe! Hobbywing motors don't even have a motor temp cut off setting below 200F.

    • @RCdune
      @RCdune  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is safe, but the lamination in the motor winding and the rotor wrap starts breaking down after 160 and will only take so much, just trying to make the most out of what I have. Thanks for the comment 🤙

      What??

    • @RCdune
      @RCdune  ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting was of thinking about it? I'm going to ream the holes in the truck out a little bigger and see if that helps. I've only had one lipo fire in a vehicle and never an esc fire. I've been using lipos since the traxxas slash was released back in the early 2000s. I must be lucky I guess. Thanks for the comment🤙
