Ow that is awesome, what year was this? I seen her once as a little girl while she was performing on stage and have never forgotten her music. It's my go to music favorite of all time.
I was about 9 when I first saw her sing at my church with her guitar and a stool... I think she went to the piano as well, but not sure. she was talking about her trip in the Denver Airport where she was trying to get on a flight... feels like yesterday and that was around '79. I had the privilege of hosting her at my church years later in the '90s where I was a youth pastor. Powerful time and honored to be her driver while she was here. Thank yo for the memories and the song list!
Our church hosted her too. I was blessed that I could drive her around. One thing I have never forgot about her was she told the congregation that her tapes were in back. If you couldn't afford it go ahead and take one. I have not seen that in a long time. Must have been late 70's or early 80's.
It is my understanding from a family friend that there are no plans to reproduce her music, thus why I made this playlist of her albums. I'm glad you're enjoying her music in CD quality.
Agreed! Thus why I put her music out there for anyone in the world to access. You'd be surprised how much her music is listened to by other countries. I see this in my stats. ;-)
@@SandySeashellBeaches I remember Janny as one I listened to in my young teens, along with Keith Green, Silverwind, 2nd Chapter of Acts etc. Janny singing the Word has caused me to retain a lot of scripture. How I wish I had kept all those cassettes! If anything happens to TH-cam or the internet, so much precious teaching and worship will be lost. I agree with the earlier comment: it is such a loss that her music isn't being reproduced.it is timeless, and a new generation needs solid heartfelt worship, instead of the entertainment fluff.

Janny's music is out of print and not for sale anymore, except for her last album. I recorded her out of print music in CD quality so others could enjoy it, too.

There are a couple of her older albums for sale, too, but they are listed under Janny Grine, the way they spelled her last name in the early years.

Word of Faith in Dallas when we were only a couple hundred people. I think I even have the cassette of that service somewhere!
