I think Pharita also sang those part live, Because I saw her easily reach the high notes in the song 'Believer' in the introduction video, I think her high-pitched type of voice makes it very easy for her to reach those high notes. Her high notes are not 'full' like Rami, Ahyeon or Rora, Pharita's high notes are more like a nasal type of tone. In her first black&white performance video and also her introduction video, she belts those high notes without doing much expressions. So I think it's her natural habitat. But I could be wrong.

Pharita has a very powerful and stable voice. We saw it in her pre-debut video. She is shown being able to sing in a very high voice while keeping a neutral expression on her face all the time.
I am not doubting Pharitas abilities. It is more so how spot on it is to how the recording version sounds. Like with Rami’s note, it sounds phenomenal but not 100% like the recording. Pharita has powerful singing ability and way she belt high note she pulled mic out and affected that we hardly hear her breath easily. Even during her first part and pre-chorus, comparing to "All of me" cover, her voice control was amazing we hardly can hear her breath as well.

But you knew that already. 🙂 To answer your question about Pharita, I think back to training days and performances that she had belted out notes and I seem to recall how effortless she made it look back then. So my short answer is yes, I believe she is actually singing it live.

I think what throws off some people with that first Pharita belt (it did me anyway) is that it is so clear and crisp and she has the mic so far away from her mouth. But there are definitely multiple takes of the video that are spliced together, so I think the audio we are hearing is just from a different take than the video we are seeing.

BABYMONSTER realese two performance one with cam switch and posible only focus in stage presence and another that is live stage without so much camera change, yes i learn the difference with that song because here you can feel is most an acting and the live stage is like that name says on live. But the voices in video are real live voices.

Definitely live. YG marketing was smart. If they had just dropped just the m/v the views would not even get to 30 million. Instead they kept us guessing. They did not label this live so it got people commenting and lots of listens to ascertain if live or not. They dropped a 3rd live version which I believe is actually the live raw studio recording for the m/v which they did label as live but still kept people guessing as to whether it was live or not. Pharita can definitely hit those High notes at ease. She is the best trained vocalist of the group. She is the most stable of the group. The 3 videos are closing on 100 million views.

With one more new song or two plus Dream, Batter Up and Stuck In The Middle! YG wouldn’t give them mic’s if they weren’t Live! Sometimes it's a little annoying people keep asking whether Babymonster did a true "live performance" or not, after they debuted. Sometimes, when many people had watched Babymonster pre-debut stuffs and fell in for their abilities and talents, but had forgotten that these young ladies passed monthly evaluation for years of training by performing "live performannce". I felt heartbreak for these girls that we fans lost our faith in them since the begining. In Batter Up live stage, they need pre-recorded live backing track playing along to keep overall live performance not being ruined by heavy dancing. But in case of SITM, there was no need for those pre-recorded live backing because they could sing live stable enough to match audio version. I have faith and fully believe in them.

This song of course better showcases their vocals than Batter Up, but that debut song does at least two things: 1) it's essentially a tribute to their predecessors and 2) it's a performance with the requisite singing, rapping, and dancing that is expected of a YG girl group. As much as I prefer this song, I still wouldn't have chosen it as their debut song. I'm not surprised with all the negative comments regarding Batter Up, because as the monk/poet Lydgate said, "...you can't please all of the people all of the time." With regards to the M/V versus the Live Stage, I prefer the latter, as in the M/V the ad libs and harmonizing seemed a bit muted (perhaps a result from post-recording editing). We're already spoiled, but I still wish they would make an a capella recording.

I too, appreciate raw live singing over staged performances. Again, not doubting their talents. I've watched their videos countless times.
