Super, super helpful! I have had a docusign account for a few years through work as a signer; you know, standard dox that come from HR 🥴. I've never had to create a document for anyone to sign. This was very easy to follow, clear, and short. I was able to create the five or six documents that needed to be signed by my boss easily. Thank you for your instruction!

Is it possible to have fields for me and fields for recipients separated? I.E. a lease agreement that I fill out amounts, dates, etc. then that doc is sent to tenant for sigs only.

So I have a document with 2 pages of different content/notices on each page. I need one person to initially sign page 1 and then after signed have the document sent to a second recipient who will only sign page 2. Can you please help me figure out how to do this?

If you will be sending a document and the recipient needs to fill out his address, you can use a TEXT FIELD for that since there is no field for ADDRESS on docusign.

What do you mean? You would like to see if you can set up a field that the recipient is only allowed to chose one option of two of them, correct?
Sure, in this case there is an option called "radio button fields" available for business pro plan.

Precise and well presented. I have a pre-filled PDF form which need to be Docusigned. When I import this PDF into Docusign, the Date field (dd/mm/yyy) becomes empty. I do see a 'Date Signed' field but not 'Date' field. How can I edit and fill this date field? Thanks
The fields of the PDF will disappear when you submit the document to DocuSign, they can just add the date fields for the signer to fill it or they can enter the date.
I have a pdf that was signed by docusign. It displays a DocuSign Envelope ID but I can't work out how to find the date that the document was signed. Do you know how to see when a pdf was signed if it was signed using docusign? I have no Docusign account, just the PDF that was signed.
If you are not the creator of the document you won't be able to see the time the document was signed, this is only available to view under the creator of the document side and it is necessary to have an account to view this details.
So does the recipient need to have an account and subscription in order to sign?
No, your recipient can still sign a document even without a DocuSign account.

You can add as many documents as you can if the file size is not bigger than 25MB.
When the document is ready to sign my created signature will not drag across to the letter nor any of the other fields?
You need to contact the support. The thing is that they will need to investigate why you aren't able to interact with the fields of the document and for that they will need to take a look at how the document/fields has been set up.
is it possible to sign hard copy document then print or save as pdf later?
When you say hard copy, you don't have the document online, therefore, you can't sign it online unless you have a copy of it online to upload then sign. And also, if you have the hard copy already, then you can sign it already then scan it, right?

Yes you may do so. You may upload the document on docusign and add the signature fields then send it to the recipient and let them sign.

you can upload a document to your DocuSign account, sign it, and send the signed document to anyone who needs to receive a copy.
Can you bulk send with docusign ? Is there a way to send a document to everybody in an organisation which has 7,000+ employees ?
Yes its possible, docusign only has one plan that can do that sends and have the feature called Bulk Send which is the Business Pro Plan.
How do i log onto docusign?
The login button is located at the top right of the homepage.
