Few years ago I was same as him before getting pet. Worried about my furnitures and hairs. Now my sofa and gaming chair is half destroyed by scratching, don't have full set of glasses and lost few pair of shoes and socks. Still happy to see my cat and dog when I get home from work. All exhaustion just blew away when I see them welcoming me with very excited appearance.
