It sounds like she was probably having a psychotic break, before the accident that was the cause of the accident. Rather than amnesia from a head injury, it’s possible she was already confused and delusional.
At this point in time the most curious thing about Patricia's case is that she has never been identified dead or alive since her parents stopped searching. In 33 years there's a good chance someone suffering amnesia would have died for some reason. Today, especially, how would she manage to survive without being identified through use of banking accounts or government licensed ID registry? There has to be an easily discoverable loose end here
Why on earth did they just let her walk away like that after a head on car crash. That's incredibly sad that she just went off alone and probably died alone.
I know this area very well. You can’t imagine the amount of isolation unless you’ve seen it. No trees. No mountains. Just flat plains with some extremely rough breaks. The only way I think she possibly survived is if she managed to circle around to highway 200 again. There by the next morning her only chance of getting out of the area unnoticed would be if picked up by someone not local or in the neighboring communities. There is literally no paved roads to the north. She would run into the Missouri River first in about 30 miles. Farm houses can be 10s of miles apart and as soon as they started searching or the story got out she would not have gone unnoticed if she showed up looking for help or a ride. And while I’m sure McCone county did an extensive search it’s still like a needle in a haystack. Also there is no fresh water. No rivers or streams. There could be puddle from run off or a recent storm but the ground quickly turns it extremely nasty. So in my mind she didn’t survive. It’s a very sad situation no matter what.
@@unknownytaus lol I was born 1989 so this woman has been missing my entire life time which is crazy and never been found dead or alive. Mobile phones in the UK started becoming a thing for normal folk like us around the time you was born and its only recently where you can track where signals are, before you could tell which tower it was pinging from but that gave you like a 3 mile radius, These days it's a bit more advanced because of the GPS function in phones and its now possible to narrow down where a phone is to 100 metres which is brilliant. In America the phone companies made it very difficult by not agreeing to help, I can only think that this costed them money and time and they didn't wanna help but its now law, they have to help!
I really don’t understand how someone nowadays can go missing. There’s over a billion surveillance cameras and CCTV footage police and detectives have access. How can someone go missing without a trace with today’s technology
This was 33 years ago While difficult, it is still possible to disappear in modern times on purpose, or by accident. While there may be footage of a particular person, not every camera is interconnected with some database like the movies. Appearances change over time. There was a guy that went missing. A couple government agencies checked his house. He was found almost 2 years later in that house. He had never left. On grid, it would be difficult to hide. Off grid, one can still vanish in plain sight.
It was middle of nowhere in the USA in 1989. There was CCTV back then in busy urban areas and it wasn't very good. Even today the UK for instance is covered with cameras, half of them don't work or not active and after 30 days most of the recordings are wiped unless someone burns it onto another USB or disk. People only check them when something happens in most cases and sometimes by the time police investigate, they have been recorded over
Even today this is an area that could possibly not have cell service. We are talking 70 miles between towns of populations under 500. If she walked north of her crash site she would never run into another paved road.
🙋🏽♀️woohoo you posted. I have been constantly checking for a new vid on your channel.
Wow thank you!

Another great video! Can’t wait for the next one. 😊

This was a great video, thank you!
Thank you!

Thank you for watching!
Great stories choices and quality, keep it up!
What a great video,thanks!
Your videos are so well done. Such a genuine and nostalgic feel to them. This is a sad case, appreciate you telling the story.
Thank you!
How terribly sad.
This is one of the creepiest and strange cases I’ve ever heard.
Frrrrrr

Glad you gave credit to Unsolved Mysteries for the footage. Not to mention that the show was where I first heard about this case.

It’s a lot easier for a female to stay off the radar as most males and other females are far more likely to help them out.

Her soul is lost on the interstate...
Sometimes I Think she joined a cult or a secret organization
Just love your work. God speed!
Thank you very much!

Thanks for the interesting story. Wonder if she has amnesia. Really enjoy your voice. Appreciate what you do.
Thank you!
YES!!!
At this point she might be dead 33 years and I'm afraid someone took advantage over her since she clearly was not in the right state of mind
Usually, women that age beyond their prime fertile years without bearing children tend to go psychotic from regret.
This somewhat reminds me of the whole story about Amy Billig
👍❤️
I wonder if her parents passed away by now
But did they even think to try track her mobile I'm sure they would of had button phones back then .how old would she be today
It was 1989. Hardly anyone had one. Back then they were pretty much Carphones for the rich and people of importance.
@@Nick_80599 interesting thanks I didn't know I was born till 1996 lol

That title's a bit confusing
L voice for narration, sadly.
