Nick Roche of Adidas did an interview with Connor of RW explaining that carbon rods will always be black, and no carbon fiber content in the rods if they are colored. There is also a heel plate, but no mention what material that is made out of. Here’s a link to the mentioned interview. m.th-cam.com/video/8FR81JfqbVI/w-d-xo.html
Nick Roche siad in a podcast that the notch is just for a "fast esthetic" and slight weight decrease
Adidas, send this man some shoes.
waiting to see Sen 8 vs Nike NIKE Streakfly
I don't think this shoe has carbon rods. They are some kind of polymer, like tpu.
I think the language Adidas uses is something like, carbon infused. so that's why they call them energy rods. I try to be more precise when describing them, but sometimes fall into the shorthand of carbon rods
@@kofuzi I see, well that's cool, good to know. Thanks
energy rods are this decades sling blades
Who else got their streakflys this morning 👌
hate to be "that" person, but I'm not seeing the charity link.
ahh. 🤦🏻♂️
so sorry about that. it's there now.
The takumi sen range is too narrow for my feet
Unfortunately too narrow for my foot….i tried them on, After 5 min went in…..but i already fehlt too much pressiere on the Same Point where you had the blistering…..i returned the pair back….i think adidas makes just extreme shoes, but never on that has an overal good fit for many People outthere……
sorry to hear that. did you replace them with a different shoe?
@@kofuzi yes, finally decided to try the razor excess from skechers and was not disappointed, great speedy very light and nimble shoe , with a good fit:-)
Yo what's going on... Tet Tet tenetet tenetet Tet Tet tenetetet
yo!
Takumi Sen3 all day long
sen 3?
@@kofuzi hey, yes the Sen 3. A proper flat flat, minimal cushion, pretty unforgiving but perfect if you're light and reasonably quick. Not necessarily just for the elites the Adios 3 and takumi sen 3 are my all time faves.
Sigh, only goes to a size 13....
Takumi Sen 8 or the Streakfly... that is the question
we'll see in about a week
@@kofuzi CANNOT wait!!!
First!! Woohoo!
yo!
@@kofuzi Great video. Haven't tried any Adidas running shoes. My first and only shoe has been the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21 since I am about 10 months into the running scene.
Great set of reflections, thanks for sharing, very useful
glad you enjoyed it!
