I WAS JUST GOING TO ASK IF THIS WAS THE SAME SHOW. MY SISTER -IN - LAW WAS THERE , TOO. Happy Birthday , Uncle Handsome. If you're too cool for Dictators NYC , YOU CAN'T BE TOO COOL.
Every day when I wake up, I look up to the sky and thank the stars above that this footage exists and is only a few clicks away. This was a glorious moment in time, caught on b&w film for all future generations to learn how it’s supposed to be done. They’re all goin’ undah the thundah… of Manitoba.
My all time favourite band. Big part of my late teens and the reason l picked up and play guitar. Kick ass rocking band with a sense of humour. Nice one!
@@andyvondeluxe6851 -- hmm. It's been a long time. Maybe. It was the third loudest band I ever saw. First was Plasmatics (I mean who puts a microphone on a shotgun in a small theater because it's not loud enough to be heard over the band otherwise?!).
Why am I just seeing this now? The best band on the planet circa the Manifest Destiny era with Shernoff on keys and Mendoza on bass, who would only last one album with them before joining the hugely overrated Twisted Sister. I'd be interested in a live DVD at some point, Andy.
I was at this show, they opened up for the Ramones. San Francisco's own The Nuns also opened up for The Dictators! Winterland!

The Animal wasnt just a random nickname I take it
Is there any more footage available from this show?
Un-PC proto-punk? More like rock n roll in my opinion!
