    I just purchased the UTE version 2 today. Its been shipped. They made some slight changes to version 2. A top pouch with a zipper. A little extra 1000d. And much bigger side water bottle pouches on both side that can be cinched down. U can fit two nalgenes side by side in each side pouch that can cinch. I love the top pouch. That little addition I love to use. I own a lot of hill people gear. I'm.a believer! Thankyou for a great video!

    Love the Hill People gear chest rigs. I'll keep using Tactical Tailor extended operator ruck.

    CaptainBerz Agreed. No material touching your back is better than any material, mesh or otherwise.

    Great video. Loving my Ute (like University if Utah Utes). I wish you would have mentioned more about how the compression works. It's like nothing I've seen before on a bag. The pulley system helps compress the load from the front. Most packs just squish everything equally around with the compression straps.
    I have an Aston Pocket, Pals Pocket and Tarahumara pack. All can be interchanged on the front of this bag. The modularity with the HPG stuff is pretty amazing.
    Happy hiking!

    The frame sheet might be used as a big ass food prep cutting board?

    What size prairie belt did you get? Did you base it off your pant size?

    Nice review and this looks like a great pack! How would you compare the quality/durability compared to say Kelty Redwing 50 or Coyote/Red Cloud series?

    • @CaptainBerz
      @CaptainBerz  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +tactical veterinarian More attention is paid to the HPG than a Kelty. Better.

    Check out the hill people gear decker frame. A build ur own pack system. I bought two! Amazing stuff. I'm building two set ups. Skies the limit. The decker frame with millions of accessories. And if ur a Hunter there is no better. But check out all the decker bags for the decker frame and decker pockets etc etc. Be well!

    3240 cubic inches is what in Liter size ? 50- 55 liters ??45 lbs, is a lot , but lightens up as you eat up the food provisions and drink the water. its' good to view the options about the packs, and hear/see the enjoyment parts of one's pack, to get more optional "Aha" momments, in ones next purchase...Many "aha!" momments in viewing your pack review vid..thanks for sharing.Tip: roll up the Straps and bind them, with ranger bands. Ranger bands are good multipurpose items. don't like all the straps hanging and flopping around on a hike. lol ;-)What is the packs max Weight handle ?

      +Kanzee They say 40-60. It is comfortable around 50 which is where I have had it in the winter with more gear.

    Good review. Honestly, though, I can't see $400 for what is simply a medium sized alpine pack with no external pouches for easy access (sold for additional charges).

      If you have a lifestyle that is benefitted from high end gear that number isn't high. I paid over 800 for my kifaru pack and still added pouches.
