Happy Songkran Festival

Songkran festival is a Thai traditional New Year which starts on April 13 every year and lasts for 3 days.
This festival is celebrated not only in Thailand but also in other countries, such as Laos and Cambodia.
This tradition of paying respect, is called “Rod Nam Dam Hua”.
One day after the traditional Thai New Year (April 14) is called “Family Day”.

Here are some tips for you to enjoy the Songkran Festival when we still have to be far apart from each other!

Wear a face mask and stay at least two meters from your elderly family members;
As an alternative, seek blessings from the elderly through telephone calls or text/social media messages instead; and
Keep practicing social and physical distancing by conducting a religious ceremony at home.
