    My father came from Italy 🇮🇹 to Australia 🇦🇺 in 1949..Bonegilla was a tough place for immigration......survival of the fittest.....my father used to say The Italians were asked to come to Australia for work, but it wasn't as easy as it sounded. Bless all the migrant's who came to our shores and built Australia and are no longer with us.❤😢

    Europeans built this Country. They worked insanely hard, adapted well and embraced the values of Australia.
    How different things are now.
    Sad….. very sad.

    That we had a lower standard of living in the Netherlands in the 1960 is nonsens

      @@zsuzsisoboslay5613 The blackets were made from horse hair probably an army issue. Did not make you feel warm and we were used to wollen blackets that could keep you warm
