Hello... Im looking some versatile under techno machines ( Around 2, 3 or 4 as much ). I'm trying to make DETROIT - BERLIN live performances and am thinking about: [ TR8S + MX1 + SY1 + ANY TABLETOP MODULAR SYNTH/S ]. What do you recommend me ? Thanks for your time. We're in touch! Best, Patrick.
Can you program a dedicated MIDI track on the 707 to control the system-1 to have it play as if the system-1 was just an extension of the 707? Or did you have to program the pattern on the system-1 independently and only midi clock is being sent from the 707?
The way I do it is I have a midi cable from the 707 to the system 1. I set the system 1 to send midi on channel 3. I have an audio cable going from the system 1 to the 707. I select "input" volume on the 707 to 200 ( the big knob). Then I write my sequences on track 3 of the 707 but keep the fader at 0 so I don't hear the 707's synth on track 3. I sometimes have do have a sound on track 3 that runs the same sequence though
@@rudolfsnajdr6994 make sure your system 1 is set to the same midi channel as the track you are using on the 707. Check the system 1 manual on how to do that. And make sure the track midi settings on the 707 are set to "on". Shift + select
Thank you! I'm mostly satisfied with it. Its frustrating how limited the amount of scenes it has. And I don't recommend it for people who like to build complex synth sounds from scratch. It's preset sounds are great
@@Fharmer No, 8 scene it's ok. But after you have 16 row for 16 additional scene. You press Shift+key (1-16) and you go at selected row. Not properly 24 direct scene but for now we are satisfied
Yeah bro
Amazing.

@@Fharmer Could you build / tweak a synth sound from scratch though if you wanted to?
Sounds great, some Prydz vibes in there.
That's one of my heros! That's so cool you could hear it in there!
