Amy, so now will you get rid of some of the round dehydrators? That plastic mesh is for small items like celery, that you want full circulation on them, and the flat, solid tray is to catch drips on the bottom of the machine.

I had a new backup dehydrator on the shelf but gave it to my neighbor to get him started. Now I need to purchase a replacement. I’m not familiar with the Magic Mill dehydrator but will give it a look-see. :)

Hey I know it's been awhile since you posted this video however I have the MFD 1010 with the 11 trays and I was under the impression that it had an interior light kind of like an oven so you could see your dehydrating in progress.. does it in fact have a light? Or no?
