Badass cover, love how after the first minute you give it a serious black metal/progressive rock vibe, making it sound like something Dream Theater/Liquid Tension Experiment would do.
Just wanna say that this is easily my favorite version of the song. You really captured a vicious vibe, as if a vague, cacophonous rhythm is the only thing keeping Giygas' insanity under control.
honestly I am more impressed that the first part is practically an 1:1 with the og song, good job gee... I still like the original "Cease to Exist" title more tho
@nicholascooney I mean, yeah it's literally the same chip. The genesis uses the SMS chip for PSG, it even has an addon that allows you to play SMS games.
@@nicholascooneyBeginning part of pokey means business uses square and noise (they're both compressed by SNES's Gaussian interpolation). SN76489 have both of waveforms as well. I'd actually use only SN7 for 8-bit part, but it can't play low notes. That's what i used FM square (which is almost perfect as SN7's).
Looking at the description, i thought you were arrogant, but you actually got some skills. Good worl

it's a cover of a song, the original does this
the genesis was meant for the grungy metal vibe that this song does, excellent work

It sounds so close because the beginning part sounds like Master System already (I'm pretty sure Genesis can perfectly do the SMS sound)
