do I need connect to wifi(Internet) or I can just buy a regular Netgear Gigabite Ethernet switch to hook up all the mic receivers to my MacBook that has the WWB installed?
This is going to be a dumb question. Learning this from scratch. no education in sound at all. I want to start using this in a club in downtown nashville, where we have 100's of wireless thigns going on all the time. I have no clue what to buy. we currently own 2 psm 300's, 2 psm900's 2 ULXD mics, 2 QLX mics.

How do scan for frequencies in a different cities?

You can use a regular network switch. Doesn’t have to be over wifi.
