It's based on ALL their lives, not just Frankie Valli. The original Broadway musical was stupendous! Saw it three times because I kept taking others to see it...it was that good. The movie was okay but nowhere near as good as the show.

Seeing it live first is important because, while Clint did a good job, there’s no comparison; people deserve to leave a live performance humming.

Written by Four Seasons member Bob Gaudio and was inspired by a line in the 1955 western Tennessee's Partner, starring John Payne, Rhonda Fleming and Ronald Reagan. When Payne's character slaps the blonde bombshell played by Fleming, he asks her what she thinks about being slapped. She gets up, composes herself, and replies, "Big girls don't cry."

The Four Seasons and the Beach Boys had a friendly running feud back in the early 60s, so the Beach Boys wrote a song called SURFERS RULE, which ends with "Four Seasons, you better believe it' while they sing the falsetto from WALK LIKE A MAN of the 4 Seasons. You should play that. It's really good. Play "Walk Like a Man" first, then "Surfers Rule", so you'll hear where it comes from.

Jamel, 90% of the tunes you play I’ve been listening to for decades. It’s always a pleasure to hear them again, only better when you’re reacting to them...❤️✌🏼

Good Morning (Saturday "East Coast") Hello Captain Jamel_AKA_Jamal.. thank you so much for taking me down this trip on memory lane it's more my parents music than it was mine but I remember my mother just loving Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and you even went before they called Frankie Valli Got Called out and they were just called The Four Seasons so that's REAL.. I went into tears a couple times last night listening to these videos and hearing that music again for the first time in many many years so thank you for the journey thank you for the ride along with you on this journey and you're just phenomenal keep being you keep safe strong and healthy and keep it together and I was always much respect and Peace ✌

This was MY song ...given to me by my 3 bigger brothers when I was 4-6 years old LOL
Anytime I would get upset they’d sing or play this for ME and laugh at me
Made me what I am now LOL

That extraordinary voice that makes it sound like he spent his youth on helium. And every tune seems to be a winner. Some of them I wasn't even aware they did first!

I live in NJ. I’ve been over Barnegat Bridge and I’ve been to Barnegat Bay & the lighthouse. They are Jersey Boys! A Broadway musical was made about them. In 2014, they made it into a movie. Frankie’s life was pretty tragic, though.
If you have time, rent “Jersey Boys”. It’s a great movie!

The piano player was the author of songs and he also wrote the music and actually played it for that voice.
