Midnight Carol

I wanted to do a mash up for a Christmas Album. I've always loved the melody from "The Huron Carol", but the lyrics reflect a time when the Indigenous people of Canada were being forced to convert to Christianity. The melody itself goes back much further to a French song, "Une Jeune Pucelle". By adding the lyrics from another well known (but not sung as often) carol "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear", I hope to create something new from something old. I hope you enjoy it.
