Anderson is a phenomenal talent who's produced at least 2 classic albums already in the last decade. It's a shame that it took his collaboration with Bruno to get this incomparable talent more recognized.... although I'm glad that he's getting his due recognition. He's a vocalist, instrumentalist, emcee (rapper), dancer and incredible songwriter. Respect to Bruno who's more palatable to the mainstream, for reasons I won't touch on here, but Anderson is in a league of his own.

Not sure how much live music you’re been exposed to, but the ability to change, improvise, switch and extend things musically/vocally is the great joy & beauty of hearing artists live. You’ll get a much deeper appreciation for what him and the band are doing here if you listen to the album cuts of these songs.
Check out Silk Sonic's performance of 'Fly As Me' from the Soul Train Awards. He sings, raps and plays multiple instruments, mainly drums. He has won 4 Grammys to date. He was the opening act on Bruno Mars' 24K Magic Tour in Europe in 2017. That's where they started writing music together. This collaboration has lead to their album 'An Evening With Silk Sonic'.

Idk if you really dove into the Silk Sonic stuff, but it’s interesting experiencing Andy’s past stuff seeing how he’s grown musically. He’s a lot more raw here. Just watched him perform for his charity event last night and they were amazing!
