Hi Dona! Thank you! Yes, I wish I never would have used that music. I just edited the video and uploaded a new copy without the music. Link below, please let me know what you think. Thanks for watching! th-cam.com/video/Rb0DXBdJv-M/w-d-xo.html
Hey thanks for the feedback! I wasn't sure about the background music. Most of my videos don't have background music. I think I'll leave it out of future videos. Thanks for watching!
@@TonyToneBBQ Hi, the music isn't all too bad, it's just whichever type would go well with instructional videos and what you would be doing! This music is great for when we see what you're going to demonstrate techniques and stuff imo. If you look up lofi hip hop, it's great background music for breaking monotony while you're giving clarity without being too classical but that's my preference lol. I think there's free tracks you can use too, if you google! I really appreciate this video, really helped me, thanks so much!
@@Trueshogunate hey! Thanks for your input! I looked up lofi hip hop and yes, chill but not too chill. Something I'm going to have to explore. Thanks again for the input and suggestion and I'm glad my video was helpful!
Great information, but by god lose the loud background music. It's incredibly distracting and unnecessary. You're a solid presenter and that's all you need.
I really appreciate that! I agree with you totally! I actually uploaded a version of the same video but without the annoying background music. I value comments from people like you because it's really helped me improve the channel. I will continue working on it. Thank you and thanks for watching!
Yes, I understand. I recently uploaded and edited version that doesn't have the music. If you get a chance, check out my channel and look it up. I will never make the mistake of adding background music again. Thanks for watching my friend!
That is one neat video, thank you for the information , great work!! Recently got my smoker ,already used it for brisket, bird now its time for some ribs :)
Hey Nick! Yeah, I agree. Not my best work, but this was a long time ago and I've learned a lot since then. This video actually makes me cringe, but I leave it up because it serves as a reminder to do better. I really appreciate your feedback and will keep working to improve content quality. Thank you so much for watching!
First time tuning in...glad you nixed the (music??) later, in other videos....I was able to mute the sound here and use CC to read and still get the info instead...thanks
Thanks for getting through it! You inspired me. I just uploaded a version without the music. Please check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks for watching!
Good job on your video but to help you some the tirm that is being used for the baby back ribs should be called back ribs for true baby back ribs come from a small piglet and you have to order them for a wholesaler few days before for fresh but can find them frozen some time
Yeah, I really wish I wouldn't have out of that stupid music. I actually posted the video again without music but seems like this is the one that people keep finding. Never make that mistake again. Thanks!
@@TonyToneBBQ ya youtube makes it hard to delete the mistakes because the dollar signs.. no matter, just keep making great content.. I've watched a few or your recents. I used to edit a lot of videos for youtube content creators. you've made it past 90% of all others. good you take the advise but don't dwell on it. Looking forward to more!
@@randomtox910 that's some great feedback and advice! Thank you! Yes, I pay close attention to comments, views, basically everything and try my best to learn what works best. Lots of work but I really enjoy making videos if they're helpful to people, and at least a little entertaining. Thanks again!
Above is where the Baby Back Ribs come from. Below, there are two options. They sell them as whole Spare Ribs, meaning you get everything down to the rib tips and nothing is trimmed off. Or the butcher trims off the rib tips and sells them as St. Louis Style. Who knows what they do with the trimming, grind it up maybe? The price per pound is usually lower when you buy untrimmed Spare Ribs, which is my preference. Then you can trim them yourself and do what you want with the trimmings. Here's how... th-cam.com/video/UdqyL6xcpos/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jJACNzoQ50u8h0uo
Hahaha! Keep working at it. It's really all about fire management. Check my channel if you get a chance. I've recenlty uploaded a video in ribs that might help. Salt, Pepper and good fire management make for some AWESOME ribs. Thaks for watching!
Thanks you and thanks for watching! General rule of thumb is 1 pound per adult. I like to shoot for 1.25 to 1.5 pounds per adult. Nothing wrong with having a few leftovers. If I'm cooking St.Louis Style ribs, I look for racks that are about 3.5 pounds each and if I'm cooking for 8 adults, I'm doing 3 of those. No matter what, it's helpful to pick up racks that are close to the same weight each. Hope that helps!

I agree. I think it's about time to take this video down. I recently uploaded another version without the music and it's much better. I'll never make that mistake again. Thanks for watching!
I've been lucky in my area so far, but word is that price of pork is going to skyrocket starting next year. I cruise meat counter at least twice a week and usually only buy on a good sale. I guess it depends on the area.
I agree! I hate that I used background music for this video. Never again. I uploaded a copy without the background music. I'll see if I can add a link to the beginning of this one. Thanks for the feedback!
THANK YOU BUT: Too much turning around, disorienting, disjointing, confusing. Price: reduce to "per ounce for comparison". Cut: which part is good for what? BB: easy to eat with the boss for company. St. Louis: Great value and so much meat. Spare: The whole hog? Try again.
I agree! I wish I could just turn it off on this video. I did recently upload a new copy of this video with the music removed. Please let me know if you can find it on my channel. Thanks!
First street.... garbage smart & final meat.... buy with caution. As a butcher, the information given is, like spare ribs, full of fat and not as meaty as it should be... thanks tho.. :/
Fortunately, I've made some DAMN great BBQ with the First Street product, although I surely don't discriminate against other brands. Thanks for the comment though! I'll work on trimming that fat for ya.
I agree! I HATE that I added music to this video. Never again! This is one of my older videos. New videos don't have this kind of BS in them. I actually make a version of this video without the music and uploaded it but for some reason, everyone finds the version with the music. Thanks for watching though!
Great explanation! Glad the music calmed down later. I almost bailed out because of it but glad I stayed. Thanks for the awesome info

costilla vacio and the other side matambre?
Sorry, I'm not sure what the mean. Can you elaborate?
@@TonyToneBBQ In Argentina the ribs has belly fat and meat in the back.

If the St. Louis style comes from the center, what does the meatcutter do with the shorter ribs above and below it?
