i LOVE this. I used live in a house with six other people and we would have dinner together every Sunday. Each week someone else was in charge of cooking and it definitely opened my eyes to the reality that good food does not have to be exorbitantly expensive.
Love it. And guess what, if you go to Lidl or Aldi instead, you'll still get great quality products (often times imported from Europe / Italy) and save another 20 bucks!
Someone gave me an ice cream from Aldi that sat in my refrigerator for two weeks. It did not melt. The ice cream was as hard as the day it was given to us. It honestly scared me. How could ice cream not melt?
@@denissealdana7816 lol that is strange. When I get ice cream from Lidl i get their "super premium" vanilla or chocolate. Highly recommend it. It is really affordable especially if you compare it to other brands, even walmart. It only has two or 3 natural ingredients and its super creamy, also it definitely melts lol. I love making affogatos with it, nice shot of espresso over a scoop of vanilla ice cream
I love affogatos. As a nice little kick in the afternoon, it makes for a perfect day. I usually shop at sprouts for my veggies and any special items. Sometimes meats. Otherwise I’ll head over to Trader Joe’s for staples like broth, coconut milk, breads sauces etc. And Costco for almost anything else. I have to shop around where I live because quality is not a word that exists out here.
@@denissealdana7816 ha cool! Did you know that Aldi owns Trader Joe's?? A lot of the products are similar or the same with different labels even. The seasonal / funky / different stuff, you know pumpkin spice cookies and whatnot. Costco is great - we are just two so we kinda stick to Costcto Frozen items! Same here... greetings from NC.
I didn’t even know that! I could check it out! And pumpkin spice anything is not my thing, unfortunately. My husband bought the brooms from Trader Joe’s the other day and my house is nauseating! Your grocery bill must be heavenly! We are a family of 5. Greetings from Cali!
Not true lol but the point is making the food costs affordable that come w/ cooking for a group! Everyone has plates/cups they own already and can use.
