As a Londoner who grew up on UK rap, I never tire of watching Americans reacting to UK rappers - and especially Lowkey's 1st FITB! Couple things that make this FITB even more incredible: this was in the early FITB days when swearing on the BBC was limited so the pauses are Lowkey censoring himself! And also, this was done in the first take! When FITB became bigger with better production, rappers were allowed multiple takes until they got it right. Lowkey stepped up and bodied it in the first attempt. Ridiculous lyricist. Great channel guys. Only came across it today with your reaction to Chase & Status Baddadan. He’s one of the OG’s and part of the movement with Akala, Mic and more where they focussed on lyricism to change the message of grime and called out government, bureaucracy and current affairs and got black balled by mainstream media and quite frankly changed the game… 🙌

I knew you would love lowkey this was the reaction I was expecting...so firstly main thing is lowkey was blackballed and gave up the rap game....he came back grenfell happened he lost someone in the fire...it affected his community. He was suddenly allowed back to do part 2 after years. .so he rushed it and didn't actually do it totally freestyle...however the message is the important thing he's a true revolutionary he has a PhD and debates academics on colonisation etc

Slowly working my way through all your videos haha I was gonna ask about Lowkey after I watched all of your Devlin FITB's - but because you mentioned it (and I haven't searched) - have you seen Lowkey diss track for Chip (originally Chipmonk) ? One of the purest diss tracks ever made and a hundred years later Chip still hasn't replied.. He DID NOT want any smoke!!

Great reaction, check lowkey’s daily duppy, and the return of lowkey. He’s one of the OG’s and part of the movement with Akala, Mic and more where they focussed on lyricism to change the message of grime and called out government, bureaucracy and current affairs and got black balled by mainstream media and quite frankly changed the game… 🙌
