Can I just thank you very much. We have been down at Clacton for a 10 day family holiday visiting walton beach 3 times whilst there. On my last night I stumbled across one of your videos. Because of your video, before we headed back to Newcastle. I took my 3 kids back to Walton to hunt for fossils they found 4 sharks teeth. What a fantastic free activity. My 10 year old autistic son was gobsmacked he was holding something millions of years old. With activities like this you don't have to spend a single penny having hours of fun. Great videos you have yourself a new subscriber.
I guess the downside to building a protective rock wall (e.g. a scaled-down continuation of Crag Walk right to the end of the cliffs) to prevent further erosion, would be the loss of natural 'washing' of the sand and soil from the cliff-falls which leaves fossils on the beach. But that would be a small price to pay to save the Naze from further depreciation 😧
@@NatureScopeYT I’m trying to find a time I can visit the Naze…I’ve never found a fossil before (living in Devon) so would love to spend a day finding sharks teeth and other fossils
