Just got my 23 defender limited. I had a gator with cab. Heres my 02. I hate the rear suicide doors. My kid popped the latch open going down the road and the wind folded it back to the box. The cable snapped like a string. Now I've put paracord and snaps to cross bar. They should have child locks IMO 2. No door locks sucks. WTF can am 3. That ecm squalling in the dash drives me bat shit crazy. Everyone says it's normal. Some say its steering some say ecm. When you shut it off it squeals to where it hurts my ears. High pitched 3. Gators have heater functions to where you can select defrost or vent or floor like a car. This setup is cheap and sucks. 4. Driver side window gets stuck in track going down. Stealer is scheduled to repair. 5. It showed up with scratches down both front fenders from whatever they cover them with in transit. They are replacing both fenders for me. Hopefully they modify how they are transported. 6. For 33k out the door It should come with turn signals IMO. They can keep the winch I'll never use and give me door locks, turn signals, and a base radio. I'm not unhappy with my purchase but I want to point out negatives for someone buying watching this video
You can actually turn the 2 defrost vents off for when you run the AC and not fog up the front windshield , I own a 2022.5 LONESTAR MAX and it definately took a bit of force to get them to open and close the first few times i opened and closed them

The correct name for this vehicle is the 2023 Can-Am Defender Max Lone Star Cab. What makes the Lone Star Cab model different from the typical Defender Limited is that black is the only color available and the JL Audio roof is included. And of course the seats have “Lone Star” instead of “Limited” but they are the same color.
#whatsthatvehicle Wanted to ask you when you bought your Defender Lonestar 2023 was there a hold up on a recall on a fuel line? I have a brother that bought one an its at the dealer can't pick it up yet because of that recall. There having trouble the dealer getting the new fuel line. Have you heard of this? Did you have this on yours?
I have and luckily everything seems okay with ours, we are checking to see if ours is part of the recall. If it turns out it is, I might do a video on it, if we replace it ourselves.
Yeah they appear to be selling like hot cakes. The dealership we were at, 6 were on the lot, an hour later only our two were left. Strange how YT doesn't notify me about comments after the first response.
@@whatsthatvehicle looked up the bumper.. did not pull the trigger on it yet though.. but I like it more than the over the top thumperfab or the plain Jane Rough country.. Do you think you could pull something out with the bumper d-rings or is it more for looks.. would the bumper bend if your really pulling on something
I think their more cosmetic. I think the bumper being mounted the under the bed would cause issues. It does say their rated for a winch to mounted on the bumper but I wouldn't trust it.
If I could change something on this unit from factory! I would Chop and lower the roof a foot then cut the front 2in lower then the rear give it that sport look and utility
Nice machine i almost ordered it but when i see for less i can get lock door, gps, ride command, plow mode, front and rear camera, i take the northstar ultimate
They come with standard halogen bulbs but we switched to beam tech LED H11s. The vision in general is fairly poor due to the headlight lens design. Adding fog lights is best to compensate.

Your better off getting something name brand but pre owned than anything no name. Most of the no name are made with extremely inferior quality parts. Like your going to ruin it on the first medium difficulty trail bad. I've never seen anyone hold on them unless they never really use it to begin with and when they do it's to drive the property. You can find plenty of good deals on older models that still have tons of use out of them.

I pushed so hard on them at first I was scared of breaking them but the more you move them they work much better when they are broke in

the factory lights are set all the way up they need to be adjusted they work well enough when aimed right

That’s weird my 2021 Limited. I could shut the defrost off and I got two more vents down by my feet.
