    I really dont undetstand this topic.
    Where do I find informations in the charts about the alert height?
    Is there a chance to show that in the sim?
    How is it in the 737?

      The Alert height is an Aircraft limitation, you will find this on the FCOM or AFM.

    Hi Captain hope all is good with you. I have a question about the landing gear leaver in the Airbus cockpit. The Down arrow is longer than the Up arrow is it because of down is weight + gravity and the Up arrow is = to Lift.

    • @PILOTCLIMB
      @PILOTCLIMB  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure why the down arrow il longer, may be it is like that to gives us a clearer indication of the landing gear status during the approach ( it is more important to know that the gear is down and locked)

      @@PILOTCLIMB Cool thank you Captain. Sorry just one more question on the Airbus cockpit on the panel where the buttons/warning lights are on the glare shield say if your sitting in the Captain's seat for example. There is the Side Stick Priority light, then to the left of the that Master Warning and Master Caution lights, then to the left of them there is the Auto Land light. But further to the left of the Auto Land light near the Captain's window there is another light/button is that an ATC is calling alert to the pilots on long flights?

      @@darrenobrien6253 that's the light that illuminates if the aircraft receives a CPDLC message from the ATC!! It will illuminate before an aural warning sounds in the cockpit. If a pilot presses the light, it will cancel the aural warning.

      Well for me it was also kinda hard to understand him, especially in the key moments when I couldn't support my understanding off of the context. Thats the combination of spelling and accent that makes this happen, and I believe talking a tad bit slower would've made matters much better
