Why don't you use terminal 4 for NE555 yet?
It's kind of weird that you don't use the 4th terminal?
It's really weird!!!!
Number 8 is like you're ignoring terminal 4 completely while accessing VCC...Mind your own business on terminal four.
If you don't input terminal 4, it will never work.
In order to operate normally, you have to connect terminal 4 and terminal 8 together to go to VCC, but this is the principle of normal operation.

It works perfectly fine with out connecting VCC to 4th pin. That's why I never connected VCC to 4th pin since about 4 years. I have not found any difference between this circuits after connecting VCC to pin 4 and a secondary capacitor to the pin 5.

Did the company that made the parts modify only one NE555 part? Whether or not you connect to terminal four...It's just that it's going to work on its own.
