@rochelleUK the answer is at the back of your m box, i am guessing you have either your input gain or output fader set really low on your preamp, this is because you need to push in the "pad" button on the back of your mbox, you will then likely have to up your gain or output

There on top is called ABSENCE not AMBIENCE !!! Is just cutting freq on 3K9 !

The way he is fiddling with buttons suggests he suffers some sort of condition (OCD perhaps ?).
Personally I found the Tube section useful. The compressor also bahaved musically. Of course the entire source material would have sounded better if someone more skillful had set it up.

Acoustic feedback - is not the fault of your electronics, - . Do you have separate monitor-room and recording room ? Have you tried recording without playback monitors on / only headphones for monitoring ?

I hear too much hiss in it I wouldn't be able to enjoy this because it would put hiss in my vocal recordings. 😢😢😢
