all these "boss vs boss" videos make me really REALLY want to see a full-strength version of Placidusax. The version we get in the game is obviously a the end of his life, he's missing heads, his limbs are atrophied, he's visibly obese (compared to the other dragons' body proportions), and he's covered in open sores/wounds. I want to see a Placidusax with all his heads, in fighting trim, able to stand and to maintain flight. I don't know how that version of Placidusax would fit into the game, because he would be effectively operating at "Major Deity" levels of ability, but I want to see it, because the "please Tarnished, just put me out of my misery" version we get in game makes me sad.

I mean, their engine is pretty much the same through all their games, and they reuse tons of stuff from game to game. So why not just go crazy, and make some sort of Fromsoft fighting game. Like a Dragon Ball Z style one where it's not just a 2D plane, but more like a 3D action game. Include different versions of bosses including "prime" versions of various bosses you have to beat to unlock (or beat a single player battle story with the old corrupted version). Prime Placidusax vs. Black Dragon Kalameet or Darkeater Midir would be amazing to see. As would prime Greyol vs. Gransax. Ornstein and Smough fighting each other Slave Knight Gael vs. Malenia Nameless King vs. Draconic Tree Sentinel Gwyn vs. Soul of Cinder Demon of Hatred vs. Orphan of Kos Man, what a dream game that would be.

He appears a lot like the 2 fingers when it was communing with the Greater Will and not getting an answer. It is likely Placidusax's heads were removed while serving its god to better act as the 2 fingers of its era. Just a theory ofc, but fromsoft would not have designed him that way without a reason.
Alas, if only he could power bomb the Fire Giant, that's how we get to a new Eternal City in the DLC. My boy Placi almost managed it, but I guess Hoarah's the real Elden Lord. I knew he didn't stand a chance against Malenia but him uprooting the Scarlet Aeonia and dragging Elden Beast back to the floor made me crack up laughing.
I bet if he would've been brought back up to full hp during Melania's 2nd phase he would've won. Her 2nd phase is basically a cheat against other bosses when she should've lost
Man seeing Hoarah Loux tear through both Radagon and Elden Beast like nothing really just perfectly encapsulates the entire story of this game. Namely that none of this would have had to happen if Marika wasn't Terminally Stupid. She coulda just asked Hoarah Loux to take care of all of this and he probably woulda done it.
Gotta remember though that in lore he ain't quite as powerful as he is shown here, realistically he would lose to malenia, malekith, radagon, the elden beast, astel and a few others. The only other character in the game that feasibly could actually kill the elden beast and all the shardbearers was malekith, they feared him for good reason.

I think Horan Loux is already in his prime. The old age argument doesn't stand up for 2 reasons: 1) The tarnisheds don't get weaker with old age. 2) Godfrey is always depicted with white hair in the paintings. Also we fight Horan Loux after beings like Malekith, the giants, Morgott and even some dragons and space beings! The tarnished would in any case be fully capable of taking down Horan Loux in his prime.

Calling him prime hoarah loux is very funny from a lore perspective because the whole point of the tarnished was to go overseas and get stronger godfrey/hoarah loux is the strongest he will ever be when we face him. Also I love seeing malenia win no matter how people try to make her lose.

Didn't matter, didn't need it, he shredded everyone except Godskin Duo, who were lucky as they both ended with almost no HP bar left. And Malenia he would have lost to no matter what because Malenia. Is there a single fight anywhere she has _lost_ that didn't involve the opponent going down with her? (there's a video with bosses against ten royal revenants and they wiped out everyone, Malenia was the only one who won, by mutually assured destruction).
She'd need to be denied her heal, denied her second phase, denied her waterfowl dance and start the fight at half health. Then maybe godrick could hurt her, but the level difference between the two is substantial.
New idea: Super Gideon (You need help!) 4 flasks Very high poise so he stop get interrupted High rot resistence so he can tank one Aeonia optional: Other stats scaled up to Elphael level scaling (about 1.1x) optional: disable the Law of Causality skill, so useless.
one thing that would be cool to see; in the videos where one boss fights all bosses, it would be cool to see all bosses scaled at the highest tier. this way even early game bosses who have cool movesets still have a chance

Could've taken the W honestly. My boy had good RNG and I'm proud of him for at least not being a pushover like in most fights where he just gets stance broken 10 times.
If you guys notice. The enimies that fair the best against other bosses are ones with any attack that would normally launch the player. Because those attacks typically are many hurtboxes compiled in some sort of wave or burst that is meant to be dodged or interact with is once then we get invulnerability until we recover. Since bosses aren’t made invulnerable and don’t get the same knock up effects they are taking the damage if that stack over and over as the many hurtboxes collide with their bigger hit boxes. Example. Radahns meteor attack where he renters the arena can one shot most any boss in the game if at the right angle.

I couldn't watch without laughing Hoarah wiping the floor with Rennala and grabbing Elden Beast. Also noticed that Placi got hit with floor explosion while he already left the ground and turned into mist. :(

Without destined death malekith would have a hard time defeating other bosses. Edit: without their fat rolling which deal continuous damage, the noble would not survive defeating the previous video's fight. Without blackflame they wouldnt kill hoarah in this one as well. Point is that these shit are central to the bosses. They are the package deal. It's like saying that moses can't do shit without his stick or that Jesus was nothing without his divine power. Hoarah Loux is so perfectly sized for the elden ring bosses that you can visualize him literally tearing Godrick's limbs apart because he's just that ferocious. Also love the idea that Godfrey is somehow able to beat up the god-devouring serpent without the need of the serpent hunter. Who needs big aoe when you got hands.

Calling him prime hoarah loux is very funny from a lore perspective because the whole point of the tarnished was to go overseas and get stronger godfrey/hoarah loux is the strongest he will ever be when we face him. Also I love seeing malenia win no matter how people try to make her lose.
shes broken obviously she will win, she has phase 2 full health. She keeps healing insanely with waterfowl dance obviously she will win.

@@oneofthekindscarf8612 Yeah but Maliketh has low HP, starts of at 50% and has shitty poise. He compensates it by being extremely mobile, sure. But Malenia has 31k HP and heals. So Maliketh beating her is bigger than she beating him.

Didn't matter, didn't need it, he shredded everyone except Godskin Duo, who were lucky as they both ended with almost no HP bar left.
And Malenia he would have lost to no matter what because Malenia. Is there a single fight anywhere she has _lost_ that didn't involve the opponent going down with her? (there's a video with bosses against ten royal revenants and they wiped out everyone, Malenia was the only one who won, by mutually assured destruction).

If you guys notice. The enimies that fair the best against other bosses are ones with any attack that would normally launch the player. Because those attacks typically are many hurtboxes compiled in some sort of wave or burst that is meant to be dodged or interact with is once then we get invulnerability until we recover. Since bosses aren’t made invulnerable and don’t get the same knock up effects they are taking the damage if that stack over and over as the many hurtboxes collide with their bigger hit boxes. Example. Radahns meteor attack where he renters the arena can one shot most any boss in the game if at the right angle.
Unrelated to my previous comment, all these "boss vs boss" videos make me really REALLY want to see a full-strength version of Placidusax. The version we get in the game is obviously a the end of his life, he's missing heads, his limbs are atrophied, he's visibly obese (compared to the other dragons' body proportions), and he's covered in open sores/wounds.
I want to see a Placidusax with all his heads, in fighting trim, able to stand and to maintain flight. I don't know how that version of Placidusax would fit into the game, because he would be effectively operating at "Major Deity" levels of ability, but I want to see it, because the "please Tarnished, just put me out of my misery" version we get in game makes me sad.
The only boss I genuinely didn't want to face. He's too epic to kill, and I agree, would love to see him at his strongest

The floor explosion and grabs clearly did not work properly, realistically several bosses should be immune to grabs, elden beast being most notable.

@@goryanadazaghal1206 and without his energy eruption AOE attacks that deal super big damage 3 times it would take longer for him to defeat bosses if not outrightlosing to them (same with his aoe shockwaves when he fall to certain hp level). Without destined death malekith would have a hard time defeating other bosses.
Edit: without their fat rolling which deal continuous damage, the noble would not survive defeating the previous video's fight. Without blackflame they wouldnt kill hoarah in this one as well.
Point is that these shit are central to the bosses. They are the package deal. It's like saying that moses can't do shit without his stick or that Jesus was nothing without his divine power. Is that true? Of course it does, but what's the point?

Hoarah Loux is so perfectly sized for the elden ring bosses that you can visualize him literally tearing Godrick's limbs apart because he's just that ferocious. Also love the idea that Godfrey is somehow able to beat up the god-devouring serpent without the need of the serpent hunter. Who needs big aoe when you got hands.
