It worked!! I had custom press on nails and the glue was hella strong. Warm water, dish soap, hand soap, cooking oil, and few drops of acetone! Took me almost an hour but I slowly eased it out the edge where it didn’t have that much glue (near cuticle bed) with a wooden cuticle pusher!! Your tutorial is a life saver ❤️ Thank you!!
For those with sensitive skin...using your body wash as a substitute for the dawn dish soap works just as well with a little bit of nail polish remover.
My cousin just did this method and was raving as she was shocked how well it worked. She removed nailed applied with base gel. I'm looking for a way to remove nails where I can save them for future use or for my catalog, I like to look back on my designs.
I have gel polish nails for first time and dosen't remove with foil acetone method. 😕 So I try find other method and your video helping me a lot. It works!! Thank you so much 🙏❤️
I bite my normal nails because I dont like nail clippers and then I peel em to keep them at a controllable size like same length as my fingers each its so satisfying I remember dropping one in my drink and drinking it with ice and saying this a lil crunchy and spit it out and I gagged I might just use nail clippers.
I'm here after getting my nails done with acrylics for the first time I hate them and the girl damaged the sides of my nails getting them done. I'll never get them done with acrylics again
Same, she was so rough with the cuticle cutting and made it bleed, she blamed it on me for not doing manicures. Also they all broke off in just a week :/
OMG!! This actually works, I had poly gel nails, and I soaked them for 10 minutes and they came off. Just make sure you put lotion after because is going to dry your hands
I'm going in sis to get these off. I did them myself and they look like dented rocks but a little clear. My first time but it was fun lol something to do n learn rocks.
I had to try this method and it definitely works! I do just want to say that I had a really bad install and it took be about 45 minutes to remove mine and I had them for a little over 2 weeks (usually would take about 2-3 hours with just an acetone soak). Pain was about a 2 out 10 but again I had a pretty bad install. Thanks for the video!!
tbh this is kinda working if its old nails or something but if you used a lot of glue and its fresh nails you need to let it soak 20 to 30 minutes and also add more dish soap and acetone 🥰
Tried this and at first it wasn't working. But I'm determined to get these nails off so I did it again but used much more oil and dawn. I also used vegetable oil this time instead of canola oil. They are actually lifting this time. Also it seems this will be about an hour and a half per hand (since I soaked one at a time)
thank you so much, it worked TT I ave long natural nails and tried my sis' press on nails for fun I regretted it right away but this video helped me so much
This was the most useful video I’ve seen and it actually worked I got a fresh set of extensions and it just took me 10 mins to remove those thank you putting this here💗
yes but acetone isn't the best for your nails and so its better to use this method which is natural and doesnt have a lot of chemicals like acetone does
Im a beginner and never used a nail gel extension before. Can anyone tell me is the gel extension is safe to use on our nails? Does it hurt? I mean when removing them or does it spoil our original nails?
Im going to try this out, I did my own set four days ago but im already wanting to do a different set 😅 so im gonna try, I have olive oil though so I'll try that and see how it works
Hello 👋 Nail tech here. I just wanted to tell you that you should get the dark line on your nail checked out by a Dr. In POC it can be a totally normal and harmless thing, but sometimes it's a sign of cancer. Just to be safe. 💕
Omg i have some on my toe nails in mostly all my nails and I have tried everything to get rid of it but it hasn’t worked, I’ve actually had since I was a child don’t remember exactly if had since I was born, and my mom never wanted to take me to a doctor to check my nails, I want to get them checked out but I’m kinda embarrassed cus I have the ugliest toe nails and that black lines just makes them even worse looking 😭
@@yamileznavarro4968 Don't be embarrassed sweetie. That's what doctors are there for. Since you have had them since birth it's likely there's nothing to worry about. Especially if you have a darker ethnicity. Don't stress yourself too much. Just make an appointment and share your concerns with the doctor. Better to be safe, but I'm pretty sure you're fine. 💕
@@Cokechiq I’m Hispanic my skin color is more on white side so the dark lines show a lot that even when I put nail polish the dark still manages to show thru. Thank you 🙏 I will soon make an appointment to get it checked out hopefully it can get rid off quickly with something and maybe request more advice about my wierd toes cus it’s not they just have bone barely any skin.
@@yamileznavarro4968 It will most likely not go away even it's not cancerous. The lines are caused by the pigment in our skin. So it's not just in your nail it's in the skin under your nail. It's just seen through the nail.
This actually helped!! A bad side effect for me (but I’m not sure if anyone else had this problem) is the day after my fingers began to peel & I believe I left my fingers way too long in hot water. It took me 2 hours in total to remove the nails & I think leaving your hands way too long in this method may leave your hands feel very dry and peel the next the day.
I’m just about trying this and it worked like magic , wow thanks you so much for this video ... look warm water acetone, cooking oil and shower gel . Sucked my fingers for not even up to 10m
Omg thank you for this. I went to the salon and I came out with these long nails my mom and my das did not like them so I'm going to try this lol but I loved the nails
There is a time for everything. Don’t rush yourself in anything. Have a conversation with your parents so you can compromise on what you like but also respecting their opinion. Maybe not long nails but longer than your natural length. Baby steps :) You have a whole life to wear long nails!
Thank you so much I tried everything to take them off and I tried what you did in the video and it took longer than 10 minutes but you know you had to soak them back in if one was it taking off
OMG thank u sooooooo much. What I did was I just soaked my hands in hot water and it didn’t work and this works perfectly with no damage thanks soooo much, now I know how to take my fake nails off.
