Impressive. I have seen this yacht twice. Once at the southern coast of Spain 2018 and once in the Caribbean 2019. Film can't do it justice. It is sleek and yet menacing. I like it.
I also like it a lot! Sailing "sculpture", very unique and challenging shape. It makes one actually look at it and consider it's design rather than just assume it.

You may get a chance to see the inside, that thing has been impounded by the Italian police. Mere mortals are already getting to see the inside of it, which would have been absolutely unthinkable before the war.
Think about the design what you want but the technology on this boat is amazing: the masts are freestanding and rotating....and loads that those huge sails generate must be enormous. Definite unique invert aspect.
I have seen so many videos of this yacht and never with the sails out.... does this yacht actually work with the sails or is it that the masts are just for looks..... too bad I think...
it look superb it as a Chinese emperor look to it. the boat reminds me of ancient Chinese boat and the mast make me think of the Sword used back then. it would fit well in a James Bond movie. I wish we could see the interior if it reflect the the modern of the outside.
I was gonna leave a comment saying just how fricken ugly this thing is. Thought I'd be the only one and would catch crap for it. Glad to see it ain't just me.
May be true, but if pirates can get onto much higher commercial cargo vessels, this spectacularly UGLY "dingy", shouldn't be too formidable, for them...Oh Well, whatever "melts ya butter!"
I want someone to interview the owner to see what his thought process was in order to go from a yacht that looked like a submarine, to a yacht that looks like a giant floating wedge of cheese.
I want to see the sails up. I like the shape and lines. It must be amazing to be under way in this ship. I wish I could take my family on this ship or the Maltese falcon .
That is with big distance to all other sailing ships the ugliest ship on this planet. Do not use drugs kids, that is one of the results if you do it. The perfect example for wasting natural resource.
See and this is why different people have different taste! I looked at it for the first time and was in awe, as how futuristic, streamlined, conceiling and harmonic the design was. In my opinion an absolute masterpiece - creating flowing lines and sides swept back in a way it seems to be tilted towards it's own front. The elegant way of hiding away it's many main features and providing both safety and discretion for the owner is very pleasing on the eye.
I bet a dodgy fucking Russian gangster oligarch owns this ... so much money ... such execrable indulgence. Funny how you don't see hideous excess like this from say Bill and Melinda Gates. it looks very badass. Very. I dont know how they "view" to the sides, maybe using multiple videocameras i assume. And what are all those things / ovals on the sides... looks like possible windows.. but with "covers on." Lots of privacy :p But doesnt seem to be a lot of irl views to be had by the people inside (if they want to look out), unless im missing something.
I saw it in Cartagena, docked on that spot. NO WAY to get near it. You have to enter the shipyard and that is, of course, restricted area. The only way to admire it was from the opposite side of the bay. Very impressive indeed, even from a distance.
I admire and appreciate bold edginess and the nauticaly suitable shape for it's purpose. Now if sea worthiness was an issue, then that's an aspect that would determine it's validity.
That vessel is a complete utter design disaster...can not believe it was given thenod to lay keel. .brutal design....my favorite sailing vessel is the schooner Bluenose....can not be surpassed in design and performance.

Just a magnificent monument of excess!
Or a magnificent monolith of ugliness

How can you dislike this design?! Mixture of Old & New, I think this is the coolest one I've seen..
What are you seeing that is old/traditional in this design?
Hands down one of THE MOST BEAUTIFUL objects ever created. I feel sorry for those of you that can't see the beauty in this design.
Oh yes, please have pity on the "tastless" among us. How will we go on?
Inspired design, yes. Beautiful, doesn't matter, I'm not the buyer.
I agree, it is gorgeous! I would love to see more.
I like it!
It doesn't put me to sleep as the typical yacht, big or small, does.
I actually really like it; congratulations to the owner for commissioning his dream.
It's growing on me.
I love the sinister look! Very me!

What a stunning boat. Totally mind blowing . Way ahead of its time.
I would like to see the interior, what its like looking out from the almost hidden windows
Probably a ''adult only'' club
Me aparece un autentica obra de arte, revolucionario por sus formas, un gran diseño, habra que verlo con viento y con las velas desplegadas...
Lo cierto es que en vivo gana bastante.
Most beautiful Yacht I ever seen!
I have to agree. I'm not into yachts but this is the only yacht I've been googling for a fair while. Sinister looking but fascinating!
I love the look of no windows and the shape of this yacht .The slight curve of its masts are beautiful.
SEE!
That's observing!
Looks like a floating high security prison.
🤷🏾♀️
Good concept for a novel.
That's what it'd be, were it not for the fact that it's designed to keep people OUT.
@@zootsootful And big waves
You mean it's the australian navy 😂
Thanks You Javier for that video
Thanks!
It looks like they accidentally threw out the sailboat, and kept the box it came in.
Looks too much like Jabba the Huts barge.
Anyone?
Chuck Clark at 1000 times the cost.
Lol. Yep😂
I'd have fun on his barge. This thing?.......
What's it carrying? The CIA's shippment of Heroin from Afghanistan to the EU? It looks a little top heavy for a sailing vessel.
It's 7 decks tall sooooo
I don't know why people think it's ugly, I think it's great.
Because it really is very ugly and you really have very bad taste. But, hey, if you like it just buy it.
I also like it a lot!
Sailing "sculpture", very unique and challenging shape. It makes one actually look at it and consider it's design rather than just assume it.
In my opinion an absolutely magnificent piece of design and engineering - time-less flowing lines combined with a futuristic shape.
Just wow!

Absolutely!
It's not "mac-n-cheese" (I love mac-n-cheese) AGAIN?
Fantastic piece of kit
The first time i saw this when it first hit the water it took my breath away its so beautifully designed
I would love to see the inside and with the sails up. Very impressive. Thanks
You may get a chance to see the inside, that thing has been impounded by the Italian police.
Mere mortals are already getting to see the inside of it, which would have been absolutely unthinkable before the war.
So there are probably leaked pictures taken by these cops, I don't speak italian but I'm going to look for that
I personally love the design and offered functionality.
Think about the design what you want but the technology on this boat is amazing: the masts are freestanding and rotating....and loads that those huge sails generate must be enormous. Definite unique invert aspect.
KRASAVA. Prosto u cheloveka est vkus. Respect!!!
The beautyful combination of too much money and too little taste.
Too little taste? For me this is not just in the sea vessels field but overall one of the most delicious designs
Testo Bilge Kilimli agreed
Excellent video, mucos gracias.. About the yacht itself..Oh, well..
Thanks!
a stealth Destoyer ship with sails?
How fast can it sail?
wow... what a stunning machine
its both ugly and impressive
Naw, just ugly
It is impressively ugly!

I've seen nicer looking Thames barges.

Looks ominous. I like the overall privacy especially on the front deck.
I have seen so many videos of this yacht and never with the sails out.... does this yacht actually work with the sails or is it that the masts are just for looks..... too bad I think...
of all the big ones, this is by far the best one ive seen.
Exactly!
Not just "the same old, same old"!
Out of the box.......!

Gracias, lastima que el fuerte viento mueva algo la imagen.
Sailing yacht, I saw what appeared to be masts but nary a sail in site. Who owns this beast?
For me, a piece of art
nice clean lines. impressive boat
This sailing ship will actually pop sails and sail around right? Got any video of that?
That is one of the weirdest ships I've ever seen. Best Wishes n Blessings. Keith Noneya

Yes! That's what they were going for.

why a video of such a beauty have negative votes? if you click to watch a beaitiful yacht.. you are going to wacth a yacht ..
I've seen loaded garbage barges off Brooklyn that looked far more beautiful than this ... thing.
Cool, you can have them. I'd rather have the sci-fi sailboat.
im with this guy^

Agreed. Ugly.
Hey many have tastes both poor and good.
Do they ever use the sails
At 5:18 you can see the owner Andrey Melnichenko standing with some other crew.
The gentleman wearing white shirt and a jacket with "A" on his jacket.
Where can i buy this? :p
Best ship all over the oceans
Is that an Adrian Newey design?
love this beast !
does it have sails?
Outstanding!
There isn’t any room for the crew! Where does the owner put his feet up?
Anyone know why it's flying a red ensign?
